Cleveland West, Century Home!

House - Shared room · West 114th Street, Cleveland, OH 44102, United States

The Space

Hey there!

I bought this century home 10 years ago, and after tons of renovation, I truly love it here! Your bed is in the living room, and we won't bother you there. It's got plenty of free street parking, a back yard, front porch, a convenient location, and is 420 friendly.

It's 4 houses from the bus which runs on Detroit. It will take you downtown in 15 minutes. It's also a block and a half away from the Red Line, which runs downtown and directly to the airport.

The house is 3 streets away from the hustle and bustle on W 117th, where you can find anything you could possibly want - groceries, restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee, banks, state liquor store... etc.

I have 2 awesome cats, and one awesome roommate. They are all very laid back and super chill.

We'll get more pictures up soon, but until then bear with me!

  • Nice house, helpful hosts. We didnt get much of an opportunity to speak with mark and nick as our schedules didnt match up and we were only there for one evening. Mark went out of his way to make sure that we had access to everything we needed and the whole process was extremely smooth. The place is easy to find and has good parking out front

  • I don't know why he is talking about. I never stayed at his place because he cancelled me just a few hours before I boarded the plane to Cleveland. It was a really bad experience, my first time in Cleveland, I didn't know the area, I didn't have a place to stay, I had to find another place to spend the night. I don't recommend him at all.

    Response from Nick:

Sorry I was out of town, and my roommate had planned on being there to let you in, but he changed his mind at the last minute. I have since taken steps to insure that I'll always be home if people come instead of relying on my roommate. My apologies :)

  • This has to be the worst experience ever... I left a voicemail with Nick the Thursday before arriving...he never responded at all... that's fine you'd figure he's busy... day of nothing from him. I called at 9 that evening to let him know we'd be there in an response of any kind... now you'd think that a guy who was hosting would be home or available to the phone by 9pm....when I got to his home at 10pm that saturday night his neighbour said he had not been home all night!! we were left stranded... Airbnb intervened.... they called with zero response. Even the supervisor was miffed at his lack of concern or empathy... Consequently Airbnb put us up in a hotel for the trouble... Advice to all: Make sure you have communication established long before you arrive.

  • The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • This place was exactly what I needed in Cleveland. While I only stayed one night, Nick and his roommate were very accommodating. All the usual taken care of, friendly chat, and friendly cats :)

  • Very friendly, easy-going guys. And cats. The house is conveniently located near mass transit, making it easy to get around. They pointed out several good spots in their neighborhood as well. I definitely had a better time in Cleveland because I stayed here!

  • Nick and his roommate were very pleasant and easy going. They efficiently accommodated my odd itinerary. The house was pleasant, full of art and interesting knick' knacks, and the bed was great.

  • Easy going, nice guys. We felt super comfortable staying, and our constant in and out didn't seem to be a bother. Found some fun spots just down the street and the post bar 24hr diner (like a block away) was a welcome perk!

  • This was a great find! It was perfectly located for us in a cool, diverse neighborhood (there was a punk music festival going on within walking distance.) The house and bed were comfortable and the cats were friendly and affectionate. We'd most certainly stay there again when next we make it up.
