We absolutely loved our stay at Rosh's home! One of the best parts about this place is that it is within walking distance to downtown SLO, which is such a fun, thriving area with tons of restaurants and shops. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but that's okay. Rosh graciously provided breakfast fixings like toast, cereal, and coffee which was awesome.
Hi Ben, I don't seem to have access to your phone number any more, I would have liked to phone you. You left a purple towel hanging in the room, I guess it is yours. What should I do with it? Also I am still concerned about the bed. I had a guest in last night and I asked her if she was comfortable, she said the bed and pillows were fine but she heard the train. I am of course really worried that the remark about the bed on the public profile will negatively affect my attractiveness to guests. I would think twice about a place if a review said the bed was not comfortable. Even if I replace the mattress I will still have that review. So any help you can give me about why it was not comfortable would help a lot. Thanks.
Wow! Greater than expected. Rosh was an amazingly gracious host. She recommended some great things to do and places to eat in SLO. The private bath was a big plus and made the stay very private and comfortable. The neigborhood couldn't be more convenient from the train station, downtown, and local restaurant. The area seemed very safe, and even have a nice bike trail for biking or jogging right outside her back door. Would highly recommend and will stay here again.
Rosh's place was great--very close to a charming quiet little corner of SLO with a delightful cafe--Sally Loo-- and other restaurants, we only wish we had more time to chat with Rosh! We were in and out most of our short stay and, like many of the other reviewers, opted out of her generous offer to make us breakfast. Overall, our stay was great and Rosh was a gracious host even though we barely saw her!
Beautiful city and area
The room and bath are comfy and private and Rosh is a charming gracious host.
Rosh is such a lovely woman and the perfect host - so thoughtful down to every detail. Her home is so beautiful and charming, as is Rosh. Her home is minutes from downtown and close to Pismo. She generously offered breakfast and coffee every morning which truly made us feel welcome. Rosh is wonderful to talk to, so sweet, thoughtful and worldly. The room was cozy equipped with our own bathroom. A quintessential SLO experience and one of the best AirBnB experiences we've had!
The location is great and the house is very nice and quiet. Rosh is very friendly. We enjoyed our stay there.
