Echo Park is one of the hot spots in LA. It's a very artistic area filled with lots of vintage shops, specialty boutiques and some of the best restaurants in LA. Echo Park Lake has also been recently updated and is a great little spot to walk, picnic, paddle boat etc. with great city views in the background. See this little write up to know more about our city:
Unfortunately LA is not a city known for its public transport. We are located in a great spot with lots to see and do in the area but if you are hoping to see all the hot spots if LA we highly recommend renting a car!
Other Things to Note
This is the front house on a property with two houses. We also rent out the back house and the easiest access to the back house is through the side yard which means you may see guests walking through the side yard from time to time.

We were a group of seven staying for 2 nights. Access to the house is provided in advance. When we arrived there was a little welcome basket and a notice with all the important information. The house is peacefully located but there is another house that is for rent - I guess - in this regard it is not that soundproofed. There is a nice fireplace in the back. Parking at the side of the road was absolutely fine. As a tourist you definitely need a car, as almost everywhere else in Los Angeles. All in all a very stylish and beautyful home we can absolutely recommend.
Cozy perfect house, great neighborhood ! Easy street parking ...
Excellent location and space. Very happy with this rental, would recommend and will definitely return.
The house was very cozy and comfortable to stay in. The decoration was creative and beautiful and it was very easy to cook home food.
