The room is in a really nice location, away from positano in a lovely little town. The view from the balcony (which is also connected to the neighbours balcony) overlooks the sea and is very nice. It is approximately 30 minute bus journey to Positano and a bus runs an hour. Marco the host was excellent in his communication and efforts to ensure we got all the help needed, and the breakfast provided was fantastic. Also, the social dinner (at a bargain €25) was brilliant - we had a very nice evening. Our only issues really were that the apartment did not have air con (as advertised on the airbnb post) and that the overhead shower did not work leaving a quite spluttery shower head.

Pasquale and his brother were great hosts who helped us with our trip every step of the way! Place was exactly as represented with a nice patio and great view. Not too far away from Positano, but enough away that you get the "village" feel to it. Also make sure to check out the restaurant, Ritrovo, right down the street!

My partner and I have just spent the past 4 nights at this b&b. We wasn't given this room as advertised. From what I can see, we were given the room next door which had a very old and dated bathroom compared to the modern amenities in the photos. It also had no air conditioning as advertised. After a very uncomfortable first night, we asked Marco (the host who was dealing with our stay) for a fan, which he did provide. . We had an ant problem in the bathroom. I had to shower with my flip flops on and had to check my toothbrush prior to using to make sure none had crawled in there. We told Marco who had his father come round within 20 minutes with some ant spray. This did solve the problem for 2 days before the ants returned again. We told Marco a second time, who had the problem sorted before we were back in the room that particular day. The room was otherwise fairly clean with just a few dusty corners and It had a bit of a stale odour about it but nothing too horrendous. Compare to the prices down in Positano, it is cheap. However it is still a reasonable amount of money, especially considering the distance from Positano itself.. I would've just hoped we would have received what we had been advertised (air con, modern bathroom). The apartment is a 15 minute bus ride up and out of Positano. However it is in the lovely little area of montepertuso which has a bit of added character. It is a 2 minute walk from the amazing restaurant of Il Ritovo. We ate there twice it was so good. They also so a shuttle pick up and drop off service for those staying down in Positano.. so I would always recommend! There was an hourly bus up and down into Positano and the buses run until 11pm. They were always jam packed however so don't expect a comfortable seated journey. The apartment is located a 2 minute walk from the bus stop.

Pasquale was amazing from the second I booked the Airbnb. He was super helpful with any questions I had before we arrived and helped me find the best way to get around Amalfi & Positano. His directions were perfect and everything was like he said it would be. If you take the local bus it's one of the last stops so don't expect to get off right away -- luckily a cute little Italian lady told us when we were at our stop so we didn't miss it. We rang the buzzer and Marco picked us up and showed us our room. The room was amazing-- clean with great design and charming details. It's a bit of a walk to Positano center but for us it was really nice to be away from the tourists with their selfie sticks. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this quaint getaway. Thanks for everything!

Great view and wonderful breakfast at the main house. Location is a trek from Positano but I really enjoyed being further up and away in a quieter area. Location also afforded easier access to amazing hiking. Would definitely go back.

The apartment is in Montepertuso, way up on the hillside above Positano via a narrow twisting road. It has a nice balcony with a smallish but beautiful view of the sea and a great view of the village so you could get a real look at how the locals lived day to day. It was fascinating. The local bus from Positano makes regular trips up (to Nocelle, where the beginning of the Path of the Gods begins) and down and the bus stop is very close. We came by car (good safe parking) but took the bus down to Pasitano. It is a must do because it is an amazing ride, full of drama and great views, takes all the stress out of the drive and means parking at the bottom is not a worry. Positano is a beautiful town. Expensive but quaint, clean and delightful to stroll around. Much nicer than Amalfi. The Path of the Gods is relatively easy, you can do a short or a long walk and gives amazing views of the coast. Nocelle is also worth seeing. The apartment is basically one room and balcony, the room with the table shown in the photos is in the entry and a shared space and whilst you could eat your breakfast there the kitchen adjacent to it, when we were there, was under some construction. The balcony was a better spot to enjoy a lovely breakfast and great coffee whilst enjoying the view. There is a wine fridge and a kettle in the room but no cups. We got glasses from in the kitchen area. There is no comfortable chair. The restaraunt in the village is amazing and has a great reputation. If you are there in peak summer time you will need to book. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the area but a few extra things in the apartment would have made it perfect!
