Beautiful spacious and quite new apartment overlook the amazing blue ocean and a church on the hill. Very modern equipped bathroom which I didn't expect but it's so good. Extremely large balcony that you could have breakfast with the breathtaking view. Lovely homemade breakfast served at the time you want. The host and his family are quite nice and help me to book a good price taxi back to Sorrento. Highly recommend to who want to have a relaxing holiday in Almafi coast! bTw, a nice restaurant is just around the corner! Try it!
Pasquale and his family are wonderful hosts and we can't even describe how beautiful the view is from Casa Mariagrazia. The room was very clean and newly renovated. We highly recommend coordinating with Pasquale to arrange for a driver to and from the property because it is totally worth the euros. We got the chance to go to their other property for an organic dinner prepared by his brother with all ingredients from their farm. I would not miss this dinner if it is hosted during your stay. Great opportunity to have a meal in an Italian home and meet people from all over the world. Pasquale and family portray the true meaning of hospitality and making you feel welcome.
Colle'del Ara was the most amazing 'inn' experience! We could not believe the spectacular views, food and company. It is much more personal than a B&B or apartment. The host Giacomo was incredibly warm, helpful and just generally delightful - and so is his family who all help. The dinner he cooked for 16 guests from his garden was superb. We met many other guests and they were all lovely, interesting travelers. The room was beautiful and tasteful with a balcony and unbeatable views. The veranda overlooks Positano. This location is unbeatable - but make sure you are walking fit as it is high up and off the beaten track - which is why we loved it so much. Bus transport is a bit erratic in season so be prepared to hike or take taxis. We could walk to the start of the "Path of the Gods' from here.
My friend and I stayed at Colle dell'ara one night prior to staying at Casa Mariagrazia. Helpful tip: Both listings are hands down amazing!
Casa Mariagrazia was an absolutely amazing experience. The view is closer to the city (which is beautiful) and the room was spotless. Everything is as pictured and even better in person. The balcony is a perfect place to have a relaxing breakfast, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is modern, the space of the room is huge, and the wifi works surprisingly well. This space is a bit more private than Colle dell'ara because there are only two guest rooms in this location.
In addition to the beautiful space and views, Casa Mariagrazia offers unique and authentic activities as well. One of the experiences they offer is a small farm-to-table cooking class. My friend and I joined Giacomo, our lovely host, as he took us around their expansive farm on the mountains. He had us foraging different herbs which he pointed out and explained along the way. After gathering enough produce, we went into the kitchen to create the most delicious fresh herb/ricotta cheese pie while drinking wine, of course. It was such a refreshing experience that allowed us to explore the landscape in a different way. I highly recommend the cooking class to future guests! We also took part in the home-cooked dinner party and we had an amazing time getting to know the other guests! Plus, the food was absolutely devine.
At the end of the day though, what really made this a memorable stay were the amazing people we met here. Pasquale, Giacomo, and their father have created a warm space were it is easy to become fast friends with other guests and locals. I feel so grateful to have made what I feel are life long friends during my stay. :) Thank you!!!!
Excellent lodging and assistance to help us enjoy our stay on the Amalfi Coast. We were met at our lodging and assisted to our room. The room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean and town. Pasquale was friendly and helpful with our questions and needs.
Our stay at Casa Mariagrazia was great! The location is very convenient, up the hill with amazing views and close to some restaurants in Montepertuso. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom which is completely new. It was a pleasure having breakfast at the terrace every morning!! There is a bus stop 2 minutes away from the house, the bus takes you straight away to the Positano centre, so you dont have to worry about where to park.
Pasquale was a great host, he recommended us several places to visit as well as some restaurants nearby. If you are travelling to Positano and you are looking for a nice and quiet place, Casa Mariagrazia is a perfect choice!!

We always hope to offer you a new wonderful family experience in the heart of nature, good food and wine, and Slow Life!
