  • Our stay in Salinas was amazing! Ehab and his family were great hosts, very friendly and generous! We almost felt like we were part of the family! They gave us great advice for our day in Monterey and also for the rest of the trip on Highway 1.
In our room was a lot of space and we could park our car at the backside of the house.
We would recommend that place to everyone else who comes by!

  • Ehab & Irit were wonderful hosts. I will definitely try to stay with them again the next time I am in town. Their home is very close to shopping, gas stations, restaurants, and conveniently by the freeway. The home is in a new subdivision, and very well kept. The bed is more comfortable than the beds at many 5-star hotels I have spent the night in. A warm shower with their massaging shower head and excellent water pressure was delightful after a long day! Their pets are loveable and friendly and are happy to welcome you into their home too!

They are a great family that will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. They are more than willing to entertain you with stories and conversation, but at the same time are so easygoing to leave you on your own as well. I highly recommend staying with them.

  • Ehab and his wife are amazingly welcoming and want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. My son and I felt as though we were staying with friends, and they were happy to chat or leave us alone if we were tired from the day's activities. Their son even had his friend sleep over while we were there so it was truly as though we were part of the family.

The house is in a newer subdivision of similar homes at the north end of town and was clean and quiet. Plenty of on-street parking. Be aware that they have a few dogs and cats that get excited to see guests but overall weren't a problem except for an occasional bark from outside at night.

My son and I attended the races at Laguna Seca, which was only about a 25-minute drive, with plenty of Starbucks and other restaurants on the way. In fact we avoided the traffic coming out of Monterey to the races, although be aware that there is commute traffic on Hwy 68 on weekdays so leave yourself plenty of time - at least an hour to get in, parked and to the viewing areas.

I recommend this private room with a king bed if you are just looking for a clean place to sleep and shower in a family home atmosphere. Given the very high prices for hotels during car week, this was a true bargain and worked out perfectly for us!

  • We loved our stay at this dynamic family. They were the most inviting people we met during our California round-trip. We got stuffed with the most delicious exotic food and some interesting conversations that went on till midnight. Ehab and his family did everything the could to make us feel welcome.
The house was situated in a nice area, and was well kept. We slept heavenly.

  • Ehab was a great host! We stayed with him for a week, and it was a pleasant/relaxing stay. He is very generous and truly cares about his guests' needs. He even went so far as to let us stay in his master bedroom because his wife and son were out of town during our stay. Great atmoshphere and great host. We definitely recommend staying with Ehab to all of those AIRBNB travelers out there!

Assistant Professor of Hebrew Language
I’m 12 years old, love to wake up early, play, hike, and travel with my parents. I play basketball. I have two dogs, two cats, two birds, and one fish. My dad, Ehab, is an Associate Professor of Modern Hebrew Language. He loves to cook, hike, and play basketball with me. My mom, Irit, is a small business owner. She loves to hike, travel, meet new people, and teach/show me new things. We are very easygoing people, speak three languages, always busy between work, school, volunteering, sport practices, etc. But we always have time for fun, and we always have time to sit together and ask “how was your day?” If that sounds good to you, you are more than welcome to be our guest.
