Located right on a private beach in the very center of Acapulco Bay, within seconds walk to most of Acapulco's major dining, nightlife and shopping. This studio suite has all new modern furnishings including US & Canadian HDTV satellite TV on a 42" Flatscreen LCD, surround sound, complete kitchenette and free highspeed internet wifi. The unit has two double beds and a large sectional sofa that can also be used for sleeping. The unit has a full view of Acapulco Bay and is on the 28th floor. The amenities in the building include two large outdoor swimming pools with full bar and restaurant service at the pool and at the lobby with excellent breakfast and dinner buffets. The owner is Canadian but lives in the building and has lived in Acapulco for 3 years and is very open to providing any advice you may need to enjoy your stay in paradise here in Acapulco.
The place is not a studio. Is a single room where everything is installed. Slightly larger than a hotel room with a bigger closet.
The air conditioned was locked and after several calls, we decided to reset the controller by ourselves. The satellite/cable tv never worked. Only local channels.
Even though we requested an iron previously and were told there was one, there wasn't and never arrived upon further request.
The communication with José was mediocre at best. He replied briefly via email and his phone numbers never worked.
Valet parking is a mess. It costs additional 100 pesos a night (should be stated in the description). They take almost an hour to give the vehicle and there is never space to drop the car. On the final night, they took the money that was left on a closed compartment.
The elevator is the worst part of the service. The room is on floor 25. He had to use the stairs twice, after waiting more than 40 minutes for the elevator. From the three available, 1 never worked during the week we were there. And there is plenty of people in the building.
On one occasion we remained stuck in one of the elevators. Had to manually open the doors and jump our way out of there.
The building requires serious renovation everywhere. Is a two-star stay at best. We lost electric energy twice on the full building.
The room is not worth the price they charge for it. There are plenty of better options for the money around.
See you soon.
Our stay at Jose's place was good! Although we never met Jose, he was available when we had questions or needed help. We felt very comfortable at his clean, well-equipped and very well-located appartment! In short, it is a great place and we can fully recommend staying there when visiting Acapulco! Besides, the view is simply amazing :)
We arrived late afternoon so check-in was very quick. Front desk was polite and efficient. We met Jose by chance at the elevator going up. He was very kind and offered to help in any way during our trip. We are easy travellers and do not need much help so we never had to call him. And everything we needed was provided. The location is ideal and the people are friendly. Yes there are those who constantly want to sell you things but if you are polite in your refusal they leave you alone. Keep in mind they are trying to feed themselves. They are not begging outside the subway like we have in canada and surely in the usa. The city is not as dangerous as the media would like to portray. Don't act stupid and think you are better than them because you have more and you'll be fine. Habla bien de Acapulco
This is a perfect way to experience Acapulco. The location is perhaps the best in the city. You are directly on the beach, and sheltered from much of the "hawking" of gifts, trinkets and snacks which happens throughout all the public beaches.
An important note to anyone booking this: This room is in the north tower of a condo called Torres Gemelas. Your taxi will not know where to bring you without this information. The listing doesn't say this anywhere, so have this information with you.
It is a great suite with amazing views.
Good and reliable! Great sea view and neat pool/beach access. Not the most tranquil location,
