Our charming log home, with 3Bdr, 2Ba and Loft, is nestled on 2 wooded acres in the peaceful Garnet Hill neighborhood. Enjoy beautiful mountain views and ADK adventures year round in our rustic home with modern conveniences. We are located just minutes from cross-country skiing at Garnet Hill Nordic Ski Center. Downhill skiing at Gore Mountain is 10 miles away. In the summer, enjoy canoeing/kayaking and fishing in the private lake, or walk to hiking trails in the Siamese Ponds Wilderness Area.

The space
Our family friendly, year-round home has 3Bdr, 2 Bath and Loft (with two full beds and work from home area). The house is equipped with high speed internet and radiant heat. The large master bedroom is located on the main level. The kitchen offers all modern conveniences and a separate dining area. The great room boasts a beautiful wood burning stove and floor to ceiling windows with lovely views of the wooded back yard. A private loft, overlooking the great room, has 2 full beds and office area. Two additional bedrooms are located on the lower level. There is a rec room with TV, comfortable seating, ping pong table and walkout to back yard.

The Garnet Hill Lodge is a five minute drive and offers XC skiing, lodging and dining. Gore Mountain for downhill skiing and the charming town of North Creek are a 15 minute drive. The Garnet Hill neighborhood owns a private waterfront area on Thirteenth Lake. This includes a beach with swimming and canoeing/kayaking. Trailheads for the Siamese Ponds Wilderness area are a mile one walk.

Guest access
The entire home is available with the exception of a storage room off the master bedroom. Guests may use all amenities within the Garnet Hill Homeowners Assoication, includng the private beach on Thirteenth Lake, boat area for canoeing/kayaking and nordic ski trails.

Other things to note
Be aware there is limited/spotty cell service within a 10 mile radius, please save directions to our home in advance.
Some roads in the neighborhood are unpaved. The roads are well-plowed but may remain slick in winter.
Radiant heating is programmed at 68.
Wood burning stove - seasoned wood and kindling is located next to stove.
Home is professionally cleaned before and after guest stays.
Ski Rack located on covered porch, store helmets and boots in mud room.
Tenants have use of canoe and two kayaks when the waterfront is open.
Our home will not accomodate trucks, trailers and/or motorcycles.
