Double room in simple and quiet apartment on the 1st floor in the Castello neighborhood, near to Arsenale and Biennale di Venezia, 10 minutes from Saint Mark's Square and 15 minutes from Rialto. Venice Lido is just 15 minutes by waterbus...
The room is equipped with 2 single beds that can be joined for to make a double bed.
The apartment consists in the kitchen, living room, double bedroom, single bedroom and 1 bathroom (shared).
The kitchen is not available for cooking but only for breakfast and or cold dishes.
Just east of San Marco's commotion, you're more likely to feel calm than crowded in Castello. Impossibly picturesque, the canals of Castello abut lush park spaces and churches dating back to the 1200s. Locals’ laundry drapes over the clotheslines that crisscross this central neighborhood’s floating roads, and the sight of undershirts baking in the sun only adds to its enchantment. Despite the crowds of St. Mark’s Square being minutes away, a general calm fills the air among Castello’s boat ramps, naval bastions, and tiny bookshops.

Alessandro was so nice when we arrived at the place. We messaged him as we got onto the aliguna from Marco polo airport and he waited for us outside his apartment to make sure we arrived safely through the labyrinth of Venice.
He gave us a LOT of advice on foods and things to do. A map was shared to us with pinned locations of restaurants and foods.
The apartment is about 10 minutes walk to the center and it shows you what real Venice is like! It was very cold, but there was a heater in our room :).
Everything was really clean. Loved our trip and it was probably the best airbnb I've been to because everything said was accurate.
Alex was a wonderful host! He gave us lots of great tips about where to go in Venice and was even helpful prior to our arrival. To top it off he has a beautiful place in quite local neighborhood only minutes away from the major sights.
nice/quiet place in a residential area, the host is very helpful, recommended several restaurants and bar which will surely not disappoint you! Thank you Alex.
We can only recommand staying at Alessandros place.
Before our trip he answered very quickly on our mails and he send us very detailled information about how to find his appartement in the labyrinth of the Venice city center.
He is living only 10 Min walking away from Piazza San Marco, but in a less touristic neighbourhood! So you can escape a little from the tourist crowds.
On our arrival he gave us many information about where to eat or what to see and we had nice conversations.
Everything was really fine!

EL ANUNCIO ERA IGUAL AL OFRECIDO
Quartier tres calme et appartement conforme à la description.
Alessandro a été tres accueillant du début a la fin , et très serviable.
Alessandro was definitely the best host we ever had. He was so awesome that he even spoke our language with us. Besides that, he told us everything about the city, gave us some tips and helped us to get to the places we wanted to.
The house was also better than we expected, the room was just perfect.
When Alessandro was at the house, he did his best to make us feel confortable, talking to us for hours, drinking, offering food etc.
So, as I tryed to explain, our experience was the best, we loved everything.
