    Ciao !!

Already 2 weeks than we returned of Rome with my son. In spite of transport problems on the ways out and back, we can say that Francesca and Andrea facilitated very well our stay of 6 days. Francesca speaks numerous languages, and Andrea is fluent in English. They’re pleasant, and both discreet and very available if necessary.
The apartment is independent and completely pleasant; it’s tall for 2 people, and enough big for 3. Even if it rained a few days, we took advantage of the outside patio; it must be particularly pleasant when it’s warm. Coffee, milk and butter are at will, and sweet attentions offered in the beginning of stay; hope to you to complete for your breakfast. Gel-shower and shampoo are at arrangement in the bathroom.
It’s very simple to join the center of Rome (on foot, in bus or metro), especially when we stay for more than a weekend there. An advice : think of reserving by internet and before your departure your visits in Vatican and especially in the Gallery Borghese (complete on several days).
Thank you very much Andrea and Francesca. It’s with pleasure that we shall see you in Lyon if you wish. We hope to coming back a day.
    Ciao !!

  • The apartment is very lovely. Francesca and Andrea were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is about five minute walking from the metro station and fifteen minutes to the main gate of Vatican City, which is a very pleasure walk. The apartment is clean and easy to use. I strongly recommend it to everybody.

  • My family and I had the most wonderful time over the holidays in this flat. Francesca and Andrea were such gracious hosts. The flat is beautiful, just what we anticipated seeing from the pictures posted. We were greeted with warmth and with fresh holiday pastries prepared by Francesca. The immediate connection with our kind hosts made our 9 day stay awesome! We were provided with maps and instructions on how to maneuver the city. Better yet, we were offered personal support if needed. This came in handy as our flights from the USA arrived very late in the evening and left very early in the morning. Thanks to Andrea, we had a driver waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. Andrea also arranged for our 3 a.m. departure and even saw us off personally. The three of us were very comfortable and felt right at home in the flat. With restaurants, markets and transportation so easily accessible, we were very pleased. My family and I plan on returning as soon as we can. We highly recommend this flat and these hosts for a great Roman experience. Thank you Francesca and Andrea!

  • Our stay at the apartment was pleasant however a confusion between booking on the mobile airbnb app caused the owners to request more money from us at the end of the stay. We had a talk with one of the owners at our time of departure and showed him what details were provided to us on the app and he seemed honestly taken aback that his profile had given us the incorrect information that we had, but acknowledged that we were booking under such information and therefore we would leave the matter as it was. The other owner has since put what an unjust and unnecessary review on our profile because she is unhappy with this outcome. I find this behaviour very unpleasant as I was under the impression our matter had been settled.
The apartment itself is nice with a lovely back area - the second bedroom is a foldout in the atrium which is fine but not entirely as advertised.
I feel our dealings with the owners since our stay has soured our opinion so I won't go into more details on the accommodation.

  • Francesca was very prompt in replying to my emails. When we were delayed at the airport waiting for our bags, I called her and she was assured us all was okay. Apartment had everything we needed, the fridge was stocked and the terrace (email hidden) to relax. The beds were very comfortable. The apartment is small and probably better suited for 2 people instead of 3, but it worked. Takes about 10 minutes or so to get to the metro stop and another 5-10 minutes to the Vatican museum. However, the Cipro stop is 5-7 stops from Termini so you need to make sure you account for that when planning to go anywhere. There are two markets nearby and several restaurants. Check out was easy, Paola was very nice about carrying our bags and taking my one sister and our bags to the metro stop.
