As a general rule we are unable to accept pets. However, one small, well mannered dog may be permitted. Please include details in your request.

Walking distance to the beach, Model Village, Cliff Railway and Babbacombe Downs.

The space
This cosy, comfy and enchanting annexe provides one bedroom super-king or twin bed sleeping in the perfect little hideaway for getting away from it all.
One reserved parking space behind a gated entrace.
We are sorry that we are unable to accept pets.
The castle estate is entirely non-smoking.
We are a historic restoration project within a tranquil castle courtyard setting which is also home to residents.

Guest access
When staying at The Annexe you are welcome to sit outside the front of The Annexe however, please note that this area is passed by tenants accessing the courtyard.
To protect tenants privacy there is no access to the courtyard, castle or grounds.
Guests will be provided with the gate code and an allocated parking space.
Feel free to contact us in advance if you wish to check any details.

Other things to note
Dedicated to adults only, The Annexe offers ground floor accommodation for up to two guests. Solo travellers most welcome with the opportunity to incorporate a companion guide (charges apply).
Free parking is allocated to you for the duration of your stay.

During the refurbishment we followed best environmental practice by:

- Fully insulating from floor to ceiling to maintain warmth throughout the year.

- Installing underfloor heating to created ambient, cosy accommodation through winter months.

- Fitting power showers which offer a lighter flow than you might find at home without compromising on comfort or warmth.

All of the above are provided through renewable energy via our energy supplier.

Please note, we are RENOVATIO! The castle is a restoration project and undergoing upgrade. We are not anticipating noise or any inconvenience to the Annexe area.

With St Mary's 11th century font and rich history offering a variety of services including a stunning 11:00 sung mass welcoming visitors to embrace the beauty, wonder and spirituality on offer. Various services and events are offered throughout the week within a bustling village location offering a number of attractions, suited to all ages, to visit within (good mobility) walking distance. Babbacombe Theatre presents a a variety of shows throughout the week.
St Marychurch precinct offers a range of independent traders as well as convenience stores such as supermarkets, beauty salons, hairdressing and gift shops.
Beaches, cafes, bars and pubs are all within about 20 minute walk.
