Upon collecting the keys from Merryl, she greeted me with a warm, welcoming hug & I immediately felt at ease ! Not only did she leave beautiful welcome gifts including personalised wine & some Australian treats, she offered to do a washing for me when there was a temporary blip with the washing machines available! She recommended lots for me do, and genuinely couldn't have been any nicer or friendlier! Great apartment was obviously a bonus to this great host. Everything available including some breakfast foods & fruit, there was nothing I did without & I will definitely be staying with Merryl again on my Brisbane return xo
We have stayed at Merryl's place for three weeks... It was fun and easy to access CBD. Although it was a slight uphill, but it was a good workout. The grocery store was about 10 mins walk (downhill).. Parking is available, so it is very convenient if you have a rental car. Merryl responded to us quite fast and addressed questions within 4 hours, so it was very easy for us. We cooked most meals and the wine store is next to the grocery store. Merryl provided us with welcome wine, food and fruit so we don't need to worry about when we first arrived. Great location, great host... will definitely come back.... Thanks Merryl!!
Thanks, Merryl, for a wonderful stay in Brisbane. Your apartment was quiet and offered a much needed sanctuary after walking about all day in the warm weather. We were able to walk to most places we wanted to and the bus stop was close. We had a great time!
I had a lovely two week stay in the apartment, it quickly became my home away from home. I felt safe within the complex, with the locked front gate and door garage. The location for me was pretty ideal, being able to walk down to Woolworthes and into the city/Fortitude Valley. The parking space right at the front of the apartment was great for the hire car, as was having a coin operated laundromat next door . I appreciated Merryl meeting me for a very early check in, and her husband kindly replaced the dvd player for me. I shall certainly be looking to stay here again when next in town. Thanks Merryl.
Merryl was a fantastic host. Her place is in a great location in the heart of Brisbane, making it easy to get around. She made it easy to check in/out and even kindly supplied breakfast and wine for us to enjoy.
Would definitely recommend her to anyone.
Merryl's place is the best in town. The unit is in the heart of everything. The fact that Merryl fill up the fridge with goodies was an amazing surprise. It made us feel like celebrities. Highly recommend it and will definitely stay with her next time
