A Mostly-Private Space For You ...
The pull-out couch I rent is in my living room which turns into your sleeping area. The room is ONLY used by you at night: you sleep alone in your own bed privately. You can go to bed and rise when you want.
Super comfy pull-out couch (sleep 2 - size of a double bed) in a great Toronto neighborhood with an awesome host! Close enough to all the things you want to see and quiet enough to get a good night’s rest.
Your host (me!) lives here and opens his home with warmth and care. I have my own private room so you will your own space too.
I offer more of a 'semi-private room' then a 'shared space … AirBnB has limited options on what I can call the space I offer and since it's my living room (no door), I want to be honest and let you know that so I list my space as shared!
The pull-out couch (your sleeping area) I rent is in my living room. For sleeping, the room is ONLY used by you: you sleep alone in your own bed (pull-out couch) and I do not come into the living room while you are sleeping. I respect your space and want your stay to be awesome! And yes, the bed really is comfortable (see reviews)! There is also adjustable heating and air conditioning for your comfort.
This is not just a "space for rent' - I actually live here but I have my own room so you will not be disturbed. There is no curfew and you can sleep in as late as you want.
I offer a clean, non-smoking, quiet place for you to crash in my 1 bedroom apartment which is in a 4 story walk-up. I live a very quiet, simple life and am a fantastic host!
Come stay with a friend in your home-away-from-home!
There is unlimited Wi-Fi so bring your laptop and smartphones.
Each guest will receive clean towels, pillows, linens and blankets. Bring your own toiletries and personal items.
Fully equipped kitchen can be used if you want to buy groceries instead of eating out. Please keep all kitchen items in the kitchen.
You will have your own set of keys so you can come and go as you like: this is your 'home away from home.

There was a bit of a hiccup and at no fault of his own Darin cancelled and refunded my stay. I did meet Darin and he was very hospitable despite the circumstances. The listing was as described and I'm sure I would have had a lovely stay with Darin if the circumtance permitted.
Darin was a very warm and welcoming host. Very knowledgeable of the area and local transportation. The pull out bed wasn't very comfortable as advertised and we could really feel the springs. Also the wifi worked very well the first day but after that it didn't work or was very weak the last two days we where there.
Darin was a wonderful host and very inviting. I highly recommend staying at his aparment.
Darin was a great host! He was very friendly, and I could feel I was welcomed.
He gave me a very detailed direction note to get to his place, and gave me some information about Toronto too.
The bed was comfortable so that I could sleep very well every night. It's in the living room, but he gave me a privacy as he writes.
His place was about 20min ride street car from downtown, good location.
Average place. Wifi was not working so i was a bit disappointed. Darin is very nice.
Darin was a nice guy who seemed like a positive person and I would be happy to stay again or recommend someone else to stay at his house.
Kind, honest and a great host! I'm also gay and extremely respectful of my guests. I love to laugh and hear stories about your travels or just give you a place to sleep. I pride myself on offering a clean place for you to crash and can offer sightseeing suggestions if requested.
