90 square meter flat 5 stops far from city center (tram number 4). The flat is composed by 2 big bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a corridor. The flat also has another room utilized as painting studio. City center (Porte Palatine, Duomo, Piazza Castello, Via Garibaldi, Quadrilatero romano...) is far just 5 stops by tram (10 minutes).
The flat is at the 4th flor without elevator
The furniture can be desumed by the photos. Most of the furniture is recycled and comes from little flea markets especially from Balon, a beautiful flea market that is held every Saturday and every second Sundays of the month (Gran Balon) close to my house.
If my guests like to spend some time together we can go walking in the city center, eat one of the best ice cream in Torino at Gelateria Popolare (close to my house), drink a glass of wine or eat together at my place.
The neighborhood is popular and quiet. The house is in a quiet street and with no traffic even if it is very close to the center. It is generally easy to park the car close to the house.
I hope that will be my future guests to say what is unique in my accommodation.
The apartment hosts a collection of paintings and clothes of the painter and seamstress Sonia Piccirillo ((website hidden))
We were met by Sonia and later met Massimiliano. They were very warm and helpful. They were even kind enough to invite us to attend an event with then the evening we arrived, but we were charmed to distraction by Torino's charm. The tram is a few minutes walk from the apartment, and in only a handful of stops you are in the city centre. The room was lovely and we slept very comfortably each night. The best value possible. Great hosts, great proximity to the city, great air bnb experience. Thank-you, Sonia and Mass.
Staying at Massimiliano's and Sonja's place was very nice, the are both kind and lovely people, and Sonja's little son is lovely, too! You feel immediately at home in their apartment and they are always available for information and recommendations about Torino. It's easy to go by tram to the centre of the city. I stayed for two nights with two friends and we had a really good time! It felt more like a (website hidden) experience!
Massimiliano & Sonia were excellent hosts! They were super welcoming. Sonia even provided a map. They gave us tips on what type of public transportation to use and what to see. Massimiliano even recommended a gelato place that was absolutely delicious. Sonia provided some breakfast - which was very nice of her. Her apartment is decorated very nicely - a lot of artwork! My friends and I enjoyed our stay - especially since we got to experience a little taste of legit Italian life. Definitely worth it for the inexpensive price.
great stay, lovely people!
We loved our stay at this property! It was just an overnight, but for us, the hosts and artistic environment was warm and delightful.
Be prepared for an urban walk-up. We are from New York City so it brought back fond memories. But not for folks with stair issues or internet obsessions (no Wifi, which was fine with us.)
Coffee and Eurobreakfast enjoyed.
Grazie Mille a Max e Sonia per l'accoglienza ottima. Sonia ci ha dato molti buoni consigli per visitare Torino, La casa è bellissima e perfettamente pulita. Era un piacere di discutere con questi due artisti di talento ! Speriamo a presto !
Me and my girlfriend had a great stay at Massimiliano's.
It really is an artistic house. Max, Sonia and Rubem are artists, in different areas. Paintings and art books are all over the place.
Also, they are very nice people and good hosts. I'm sure you'll like them!
Just mind that the flat is on the 4th floor, so you'll need to climb some stairs to get there. :)
We had a great time at Turin, largely thanks to the hospitality of Max and Sonia. Sonia made us feel like at home, provided towels and even made us Italian breakfast every morning (her coffee was among the best coffees we've ever drunk!). She also gave us advice on what to see and where to eat in Turin. We've had a wonderful evening at one of the recommended restaurants, great food, and we even got to dance with the owner in the end!
The apartment itself is very beautiful, very "artsy", with great view from the balcony. Pictures don't really do it justice. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, about 20 minutes by tram from the city centre. If you're like us, you will forget about walking to the centre by foot after the first day and just buy a (fairly cheap) 4-day ticket.
