We have stayed in Lidia's room for 3 nights. The room is very cozy and it has right venetian feel to it and is decorated with very warmly. Lidia has found time for us and explained which restaurants are good in town and what not to miss. In the morning she even made us authentic Italian coffee!!! I recommend to stay in her place. The only downside was that the wifi was not working all the time, but who needs an internet it this amazing city.
Me and my friend didn't mind sharing a bed, so we went to Lidia's house. It's really well situated, ten minutes to the rialto and the station, near a beautiful church, with everything around from shop to restaurants. Lidia was a great host and gave us many tips on to where to eat or what to see, although we didn't see her much. Her friend was staying in the house with us and was nice too. Of course it's not a luxury accomodation, but it's as it is advertised, the kitchen lacks nothing to make something to eat, the bed was big and the bedroom had a lot of space for our belongings. But as some people have said before, there's no wi-fi and the shower is kinda capricious. But if something bothers you, Lidia will surely have a solution for it, so do not be afraid to ask!
I stayed in Lidia's apartment for 3 nights. Had a very enjoyable time as the location is ideal. Only a 15 min walk to St Marks, but far enough to avoid the crowds.
The room is large and clean as pictured. You can hear the pedestrians and church bells throughout the day which was nice and peaceful.
My only issue was that the internet wasn't working at all throughout my stay.
Aside from that, I would happily stay at Lidia's again.
We had an excellent holiday at Lidia's home, who gave us full of tips for visiting Venice. She was very nice with us! We certainly return in Lidia's room, if we have to go back in Venise .
Thanks you for all!

My husband I stayed at Lidia's apartment at Campo dei Frari and enjoyed walking all around Venice from there. The Billa market was nearby as were many restaurants. Since Lidia was out of town for an extended period, she arranged a friend to meet us and stay during our visit. The apartment did not provide the advertised wifi, which was a significant negative for us. Otherwise, we loved our stay in Venice!
Lidia was very easy to communicate with and got back to me quickly. Her apartment was very cute and comfortable and a much better value than you could imagine for that price. It is in a very charming part of the city and easy to get to by water taxi. The bedroom is roomy and even nicer than the pictures suggest. I highly recommend staying here!
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We liked the warm hospitality and caring shown by Lidia and her friends. Her attention to details were very comforting. She also helped us with much needed towels that we forgot to pack. Her place is easy to find, very centrally placed and well suited for taking walks in different directions in Venice. That's exactly what we did during our stay. She had also let us use her neatly packed kitchen. If we come back to Venice again, we will definitely contact her first.
