Wonderful house in a quiet neighborhood. Less than 2 blocks from Magic Sands Beach and Snorkel beach if you want to just enjoy the local Beaches. Studio with queen bed, full bath, screened in lanai with ocean view, kitchenette (Full size refrig, induction cook plate, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker) closet, cable tv and WIFI. There is coin operated Washer & Dryer in common room for guests use and a gazebo with table, chairs and BBQ for those who like to grill outside. Lots of private off street parking. Home is situated to catch the trade winds for that cooling breeze. Lush and tropical and can even hear the waves crashing on the shoreline when the surf is up.
There are restaurants and shops on the ocean front along with places to schedule activities such as snorkeling or scuba diving with manta rays, going on a submarine ride, signing up for a Luau, going on a helicopter ride around the Island and over the Volcano, going on a charter for fishing big game such as Marlin, Tuna, Mahi, Ono and spearfish, along with many other activities in the town of Kona which is 4 miles north of the suite. A short distance to the south approx. 1 mile is Keauhou center which has a grocery store, drug store, post office, restaurants, medical facilities, theater and a farmers market on Saturday mornings.
There are two Transit systems that run and they both run along Alii drive making them very usable for those that are here without transportation.
The sunsets are just incredible here, you will often see people on the sides of the road in the evening trying to capture a picture of the green flash as the sun slips over the horizon.

The house is very clean with all kinds of accessories: microwave, refrigerator, even a small set of cooking gears. The location is close to beach and a couple of minutes drive to Kona downtown.

David was helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed the ocean view and the proximity to the Main Street in Kona. One wall of the apartment is a screen which let in a nice breeze at night. We would stay here again!

David was great host. We didn't get to Kona until 11pm and he was waiting for us to check in. The linai is awesome! You can have your morning coffee while watching the ocean. We had a car but decided to walk every day to the bay. Amazing snorkeling there! David was available for any questions we had. We loved everything about our stay. Would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax in Kona. Mahalo, David!

David was a wonderful host and met me at the apartment even though my flight was late and did not get in until near midnight. Made sure I had everything I needed. The apartment was great and well equipped. Boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towel and snorkeling equipment to borrow. It even had a coffee grinder so I could enjoy fresh Kona coffee every morning. I highly recommend the location. Loved the screened windows so I could sleep with the ocean breezes and listening to the waves in the distance.

My wife and I moved here after having vacationed in Kona ourselves. The weather is warm and so is the water temperature year round. Kona is a community of good health, from all the out door activity's, both ocean and on land, and healthy eating. We both grew up on the coast of southern California which we thought was paradise. After having spent time here in Kona during the winter months we found that this was true paradise. We decided we wanted to be a part of the Island life. Now we have a place for others to come stay and find what we fell in love with. It has it all from fishing, snorkeling, hiking to exploring the volcanoes and water falls.
