Bacio del Sole B&B is located in Nocelle, a small village on the Positano hill, the architecture of the village is very especial with picturesque alleys and stairs.
Nocelle is a little village 450 metres above sea level overlooking Positano, Li galli Island, Capri, I Faraglioni and Punta Campanella. Today Nocelle is still a quiet and rural village that enchants everybody who visits it.
The Bacio del Sole B&B is surrounded by scented lemon groves and vineyards. Its view of Positano is breathtaking. Bacio del Sole B&B is the perfect place for people who love the mountains and the sea, it is only 15 minutes by car from the Positano Beach and at the beginning of the famous Sentiero degli Dei a unique path that winds for 11 Km through the spectacular Amalfi Coast peaks.
It was a an unforgettable stay at this bed and breakfast. The view from the terrace where you have breakfast is unreal, all the views are unreal. The walk down to Arienzo is so beautiful, you can walk down, swim, sunbath and then take the bus back from Positano to Nocelle, you will just need to talk for 10 minutes from Arezzo to the bus stop in Positano. The stuff was so friendly and caring and made us feel welcome. The room had everything necessary, and the 2 restaurants of the village are so delicious and have spirit thanks the the people who work there. If you are staying long I would recommend you do the grocery shopping maybe in Positano, because the little store does not have too much stuff but it has everything necessary. We were happy we did not stay in touristy Positano. Nocelle is amazing.
El apartamento es precioso, la atención y limpieza excelentes.
We were so happy with our choice to stay here. Nocelle is truly beautiful,
the views are spectacular and it is nice to be away from all the tourists down in Positano, even if it meant longer bus trips. We also walked down the stairs one day instead of taking the bus to Arienzo beach - highly suggest it! Also a great home base for the path of the gods which we hiked one day. You get your room cleaned everyday so this is more like a hotel experience than most airbnbs. If you like lowkey accommodations with breathtaking views this is the spot for you.
We wish to say thank you for our amazing stay in Nocelle. BaciodelSole is a perfect place to visit all of the surrounding areas. You were soo very welcoming and helpful there are soo many beautiful restaurants close by with amazing food and very friendly and helpful people. I enjoyed the many amazing walks. Plus you are close enough to Positano and surrounding towns to enjoy many wonderful days there. We hope to one day return and enjoy your beautiful hospitality once more.
With many thanks, Janelle, Stephanie, Andrew and Jeremy
Our stay in nocelle was one of the highlights of our trip, I am glad I chose to stay there instead of positano or amalfi, both of those are cute but busy places. Nocelle is so peaceful and has incredible views. Raffaella has a lovely bnb with good size rooms and proper bathtubs as well as air con and great WiFi access. The breakfast terrace has amazing views across the coast. Her staff even arranged a breakfast tray and porters for our early departure at 7am, which was an unexpected pleasure.
One thing to know is that nocelle is high on the hill and takes 25mins on the bus to/from positano. I would strongly recommend not bringing a car (we did and it sat in the car park for 3 days) because driving the hill road is not so enjoyable due to narrow lanes and many parked cars. Seriously, let the bus driver take the strain. Also, parking in positano is expensive anyway.
Recommend eating at the Santa Croce restaurant on nocelle, there's only 2 but the views are great and food was lovely.
Baciodel Sole is the last bus stop about 3 (or was it 5??) km up the mountainside from Positano. We four adults shared one room, so it was quite cozy, but we had a table and chairs outside on the terrace, so this was like another room. When I called Raffaella the day before arriving, she asked what sleeping arrangements we needed and these were provided for us. I think the room is best suited for two, but we're all friends so it worked fine for us and our budget. There was one bathroom, and the room is provided with a small refrigerator. Breakfast is provided to the room, which was much appreciated. It consisted of ham and cheese, rolls and butter, coffee, milk, and yogurt. Since there are only two restaurants in Nocelle, this is pretty much a necessity. Both restaurants, Santa Croce and the Trattoria were excellent, but I don't think they're open mornings. If you stay in Nocelle, get ready for some stairs! Raffaella sent a porter to help with the bags, but we still had our work cut out for us! It's about a ten minute walk from the parking lot to BaciodelSole, and I believe we counted nearly 200 steps, mostly uphill. I do not recommend a stay in Nocelle for anyone with hip or knee problems and definitely not for the elderly unless they are as fit as the Italians who do a lot of walking. We looked on the experience as an adventure and we laughed at ourselves as we stopped for a breather. Looking back I wouldn't trade this stay for any other. Our view of Positano, other villages, and the sea was glorious day and night. I think we all managed to lose some inches and strenghten our thighs and calves, but this was probably due to the walking we did over our whole two-week stay in Italia! Another word about Raffaella. She was very helpful. We asked her to arrange drivers for us both to get to Pompei and for our return direct to the Napoli train station. There is public transportation available, but we were short on time for both trips. Since we had 5 bags and 4 persons, she had to search a bit to find an auto to fit us all in. But she came through, even when we requested her help as late as ten p.m. for the next day. We have a recommendation for anyone visiting the Positano area. We took the ferry from Salerno to Positano. The hour long trip affords breathtaking sights of the Amalfi coast not to be missed (it stops in Amalfi and Positano). We were so glad we had opted for the ferry instead of going by land. The ferry is about a 4-minute walk from the Salerno train station. Our hearty thanks to Raffaella! She helped make our trip to southern to the Amalfi coast area one we will never forget! She was a wonderful host and we thoroughly...
We had a great stay for 3 days at Bacio del Sole. The room WAS superior in every way. Raffaella was a great host and she and her staff made us feel welcome. If you are looking for a quite spacious room with a beautiful view to the coast and Positano.. This is the place.
Breakfast was served every morning outside your door.
In Nocelle there are two restaurants , we loved the family runned one... Il Ristoro gli Dei...
