Hello! We are renting a room for 1 or 2 guests, in Monteverde, an area with a lot of greenery close and well connected to the center of Rome and to the Vatican City (a 20-minute ride). It is wide, warm, with parquet on the floor, posters on the wall and a big balcony! It has its own bathroom with shower. In the area there are bars, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and pizzerias, all very near. Indoor parking available (for short stays).
The apartmanet was very big, our room was separately with a big bathroom and a balcony. We had every morning a big breakfast with all kind of jams, we also had little suprises every day. The atmosphere was homy and we felt good to stay at him.
His mother was eager to taste all the sweets that were on the table and she seems a little disapointed because we weren't used to eat so many sweets at the breakfast.
Overwall the experience was great, ricardo gave us a lot of turistic stuff and hints about the attractions.
There was sometimes some noise in the night but we told him and he understood us and everything was good. I also mention that we have a sensitive sleep.
If we'll come back in Rome we'll stay again at him.
I had a very good time in Rome thanks to the warmth and hospitality of Riccardo and his beautiful family (mother and grandmother). I felt like a part of their family they look after you so well. You are in the family home and it is a really comfortable home.
The room has a bathroom exclusive for your use right next to it.
Riccardo's mother provides breakfast which is tasty and you are not left wanting.
The location is pretty good. There are trams taking you to and from Rome Centre at a short walk away.
Riccardo helped in this situation with transport to and from the train station which I really appreciated.
Riccardo is also very knowledgeable about Rome and is happy to discuss your plans.
I would happily recommend this accommodation to other travellers.
Riccardo was a very nice host. He was giving us a lot of tips about Rome and what to visit and was very hospitable. The apartment was great, the living room, where his mom served us a very lovely breakfast, was quite large.
We had a nice Bathroom for our own. Even the bed-sheets and towels were changed after 4 days. The location was good, quiet, the supermarket was around rhw corner and it was easy to get there after touring rome by using (website hidden) maps for public transportation. He and his mom are were very lovely and helpful people, very accommodating and kind. I highly recommend it!
This is my second stay at the Colli house and was just like the first, perfect. I am telling the truth when I say that Riccardo and Rosanna make you feel like one of the family and Nonna (Grandma) who is 100 years old is such a sweet treat! The breakfast is wonderful, the coffee is WONDERFUL! Thank you Riccardo, Rosanna and Nonna! I will be staying again a couple of days in April and already looking forward to it.
Riccardo was very helpful and understanding as I was to arrive quite late at night and when subsequently I missed my flight all together. Great location overlooking the most beautiful park in Rome and value for money.
Riccardo e la mamma sono stati impeccabili.gentili e disponibili,molto premurosi.consigliatissimo :-)
Riccardo era molto simpatico, lui e anche sua mama hanno fatto tutto a fare nostra sospensione. Abbiamo passato cinque giorni bellissimi li!
