Hello! We are renting a room for 1 or 2 guests, in Monteverde, an area with a lot of greenery close and well connected to the center of Rome and to the Vatican City (a 20-minute ride). It is wide, warm, with parquet on the floor, posters on the wall and a big balcony! It has its own bathroom with shower. In the area there are bars, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and pizzerias, all very near. Indoor parking available (for short stays).
Riccardo was very helpful and understanding as I was to arrive quite late at night and when subsequently I missed my flight all together. Great location overlooking the most beautiful park in Rome and value for money.
Riccardo e la mamma sono stati impeccabili.gentili e disponibili,molto premurosi.consigliatissimo :-)
Riccardo era molto simpatico, lui e anche sua mama hanno fatto tutto a fare nostra sospensione. Abbiamo passato cinque giorni bellissimi li!
Riccardo was fantastic. He met us at Termini station after midnight and drove us back to his flat, which is about 20 minutes from the center of Rome by car or 30 minutes by bus. Once we got back to his house, he gave us a map with a detailed overview of what to do in Rome and how to get there. He used to be a tour guide, so he is super knowledgeable. Additionally, his mother prepares breakfast each morning (tea, coffee, biscuits, croissants, cookies, bread, fruit, various spreads). Even though we spoke no Italian, she was very interested in our plans for the day, and we could tell she was such a sweetheart. The room and bathroom were really clean. All in all, we highly recommend staying with Riccardo in Rome. He definitely made our experience memorable.
It is really wonderful experience to stay with Riccardo's home. It is a big house with nice descriptions. I would like to say that the room is really much better than it is showed in the pictures. The room is big and the bathroom is very nice. The location is not in the downtown but quite convenient. Riccardo is the best host I have ever met in airbnb. He is very friendly, helpful, considerate and warm hearted. He provides us all the things we need. And his families are also very very nice. His mother prepared us nice breakfasts every morning. We had very nice conversations every day. The stay helped me to understand more about the Italy life style as they really invited us for a lot of coffee every day. now I still remember that Riccardo's word: would you like a coffee? :) In all, the host did far more than we required~~It was a great experience staying Room with this place, I will strongly recommend this place to any of you~~
It was a wonderful vacation! These "Roman Holiday" before Christmas). Riccardo and his family are very hospitable and caring that will make you feel comfortable. Rooms are bright and comfortable, with a balcony and a bathroom nearby. You have a feeling that you live completely isolated. Better not be like! Tram 10 minutes takes you to the city center, Piazza Venezia. A 20-minute walk from the house is the top of the Janiculum hill with stunning views of the city. Taking a walk through Rome, you discover new and wonderful. Those were wonderful days! Thanks Riccardo and his mother for sensitivity!
Don't know where to begin, one word is, WOW!!!Our stay at Riccardo was absolutely amazing!riccardo was so welcoming and such a warm soul!Riccardo went out of his way to be flexible with the check in an out times, which we are very grateful for!Riccardo instantly made us feel at home!Riccardo's lovely mother instantly felt like a mother to us and her warm presence (just like Riccardo's and his grandmother) made us feel like part of the family. Our room was perfect with a lot of space ,a balcony, comfi beds, delicious treats and our own bathroom. We were spoilt generously every morning by Riccardo's mom and her delicious breakfast spread(thank you!). Riccardo helped us a lot with directions and telling us everything we need to know about Rome including a very useful map. The area Monte verde, was so lovely!theres a super market 2min from the apartment and a lots of pizzerias/resturants. its a easy and short tram/bus ride into the centre and an even shorter ride to the trendy bar and resturant area of trasteveste. We will definetly be back to stay and were very sad to say goodbye to the Colli family!we hope to have you stay in London with us!what a special family!thank u so much for everything, you guys made our stay in Rome spectacular!xxx
