Hello! We are renting a room for 1 or 2 guests, in Monteverde, an area with a lot of greenery close and well connected to the center of Rome and to the Vatican City (a 20-minute ride). It is wide, warm, with parquet on the floor, posters on the wall and a big balcony! It has its own bathroom with shower. In the area there are bars, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs and pizzerias, all very near. Indoor parking available (for short stays).
This was my third stay with Riccardo, his mother and grandmother and I indeed feel like I'm part of the family. They really know how to treat a guest. When in Rome stay at Riccardo's you will NOT be a disappointed!
Riccardo is an incredible host, he was very kind with us since the first day and he gave us all the indications to get to all the top sites of Rome. The room was perfect for two people and we felt very confortable all the time, also well located and near to the bus station (1 min from the house) and the tram (5 - 8 min). Being at his place was like home, his mom is one of the nicest women we knew in Italy. I strongly recommend Riccardo if you are looking where to stay on Rome.
Our stay at Riccardo&Family was so good ! They welcome us very friendly ! The appartement and especially our bedroom and "private" bathroom were very clean. It was the same as in the description. We could have a breakfast every morning prepared by Riccardo's mother who is so adorable! Riccardo was very helpful and gave us lots of good advices. It was a real pleasure to stay With them. The flat is at 5 min from the tram which bring you to the center in 15-20min which is really useful!
We spent amazing 3 days at the apartment of Riccardo and his family. Trip to Rome turned out to be almost like a visit to the relatives. Riccardo's mother served us breakfast, she wanted to make sure we charge ourselves before long day in the city. I had to stop her, otherwise, she would have overloaded the table with the food. Riccardo was always around to advise on where to go and the best way to get to the places that we planned to visit every day. Riccardo's grandmother (whose age was a big discovery for us:) was always asking us if we have eaten something, basically to make sure we are well-fed. I had been to Rome many times before, but this trip was really special one, because we had an opportunity to also communicate with this beautiful hospitable family. Everything was fantastic. I left with very nice impressions. I would like to see them again. That was truly magnificent experience in Rome!
The apartmanet was very big, our room was separately with a big bathroom and a balcony. We had every morning a big breakfast with all kind of jams, we also had little suprises every day. The atmosphere was homy and we felt good to stay at him.
His mother was eager to taste all the sweets that were on the table and she seems a little disapointed because we weren't used to eat so many sweets at the breakfast.
Overwall the experience was great, ricardo gave us a lot of turistic stuff and hints about the attractions.
There was sometimes some noise in the night but we told him and he understood us and everything was good. I also mention that we have a sensitive sleep.
If we'll come back in Rome we'll stay again at him.
I had a very good time in Rome thanks to the warmth and hospitality of Riccardo and his beautiful family (mother and grandmother). I felt like a part of their family they look after you so well. You are in the family home and it is a really comfortable home.
The room has a bathroom exclusive for your use right next to it.
Riccardo's mother provides breakfast which is tasty and you are not left wanting.
The location is pretty good. There are trams taking you to and from Rome Centre at a short walk away.
Riccardo helped in this situation with transport to and from the train station which I really appreciated.
Riccardo is also very knowledgeable about Rome and is happy to discuss your plans.
I would happily recommend this accommodation to other travellers.
Riccardo was a very nice host. He was giving us a lot of tips about Rome and what to visit and was very hospitable. The apartment was great, the living room, where his mom served us a very lovely breakfast, was quite large.
We had a nice Bathroom for our own. Even the bed-sheets and towels were changed after 4 days. The location was good, quiet, the supermarket was around rhw corner and it was easy to get there after touring rome by using google maps for public transportation. He and his mom are were very lovely and helpful people, very accommodating and kind. I highly recommend it!
