About this listing
Independent house in a quite street of Trastevere, at walking distance by its movida, but far enough to be not disturbed by it!
Just crossing the river you get the rest of the center: Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, Pantheon are at 10 minutes walking.
It has a big living (with double sofa bed) open upon a fresh garden with dining table, chairs, armchairs under its trees shadow. By the living you can access to a room in loft conversion with double bed, and to the big main bedroom, with 1 double bed + 1 double sofa bed. A big bathroom with bath and shower is in-suite the main bedroom, while a second bathroom is between the living and the kitchen.
The apartment is very fresh. Air cond is in the living/loft and in the bedroom also since 25/06/2015
Curiosity: The huge golden frame into the living is a relic by the set of "Pinocchio" movie, directed by Roberto Benigni, winner of Academy Awards in 1997; looking at the movie you will recognize this funny item.

The apartment was even better than imagined and was ideal for my group of 5 people. Airconditioning, wifi. Only warning is that because if its location, there is little cell phone service, but this is simple to address - just step outside!
Davide was easy to communicate with but Edwin met us at the apartment. It looked just as we expected it to from the photos and our whole family loved it. Our teenage kids want an apartment just like it. It's now a model for cool living! Tge apartment is just a few minutes walk to a neighborhood full of restaurants, bars, and public squares where people congregate and where there were artists and someone performing with fire. But the street itself is nice and quiet. We walked to all the major sites, so the location could not have been more perfect . The only drawback to the apartment was that the loft area was somewhat hot despite the air conditioning (we were in Rome during a heat wave), but it was manageable. The beds were more comfortable than lots of other places in Italy and the art on the walls was interesting. We had a great stay. Davide arranged a large cab for us on our departure and let us check out late. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!
Davide's place was perfect. It was very spacious and clean and better than the pictures. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family of four with 2 teenagers. We loved the location on a quiet street yet close to some excellent places to eat, shop and grab a cappuccino and brioche. We didn't meet Davide, but his colleague, Francisco, was waiting for us when the taxi dropped us off. He also made arrangements for a taxi to pick us up when we left. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Rome.
Super appart, idéalement situé!
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et n'hésiterons pas à revenir dans cet appartement pour une prochaine visite!
The accommodations were as we expected based upon Davide's description and the reviews. The living room was open airy with air conditioning and the main bedroom was quite large (no a/c though). The temperature in Rome was quite hot, so the loft was not as pleasant for sleeping, though the couch in the living room could also be used as a bed. The bathrooms were quirky but manageable and the wifi worked in the main room and loft.
Davide was accommodating of our travel needs as he had the place ready early for us on arrival and allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment a little longer on our departure day. We never met Davide directly, but Edwin met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the apartment. Davide also checked in with us midway through our stay to make sure everything was fine.
The location in Trastevere was excellent, close to restaurants and nightlife. Overall, we had an excellent trip to Rome and were satisfied with the comfortable accommodations.
The Hosts are very kind people and everything was perfect! The apartment is well organized, clean, has really good atmosphere.
The location is perfect, very close to heart of Trastevere. We (6 people) spent there 4 days and we are absolutely satisfied.
Thanks you (website hidden) vediamo dopo.
Everything was great, we stayed 3 days with our baby and Davide provided us a cradle for her. The apartment is huge and very well decorated!

About the Host, Davide & Edwin
Hey It's Davide, an italian entrepreneur, ex actor, into architecture, design, art, vintage and...animal most of all. My 2 dogs are the children I don't have. I have never liked "total Ikea" and "grandmother's apartment" that so often I see on holiday apartments market. I would like like to offer something different to my guests; some of my apartments are basic and easy, some other are much luxurious, but all of them have an own personality, that probably cannot be found in a common hotel.
Edwin is my business partner, much clever then me in practical manual job, so he helps me keeping the apartments in order and welcoming the guests when I can't do that.
I expect to host respectful guests, easy going, smart enough to understand that communication and flexibility are important renting a private apartment: as traveller I know that each unit necessary has defects also other then strengths, and that the total perfection can be found at Hilton (maybe) ;)
So, I hope to host you and being in touch before, during and after your stay. If you will stay somewhere else, enjoy Rome and don't forget to visit some other wonderful place in Italy!
