To Host is a passion for me. I manage the property of my family to share the fantastic mood of the Centre of Rome. I live in a residential area but the apartment is like a second home for me, this is why I know very well the area with it s characteristics. The very central position makes it perfect for enjoying the main monuments. The nightlife going on all around the large historical centre can easily be reached by foot. The apartment is at the 4 th floor of a quiet street well connected to some of the most famous and good restaurants and typical “Caffetterias” where you may sit and live the roman lifestyle.
I could suggest any kind of needs; shopping and good places where to be.
I am work right now on a new restoration business opening nearby based on a high quality gourmet street food, so I will be around for any need.

A fantastically helpful host who helped us organise airport transfers and a babysitter amongst other things. His restaurant suggestions were spot on. The apartment is in a really outstanding location and was perfect for my husband and I and young children. We had a wonderful time Rome.
It was my second visit to Rome with 17 years apart.
It was absolutley a gorgeous expereince being in Rome again.
And, Nicola's apartment was at a perfect location to enjoy my tour around the city.
Nicolas place has both pros and cons.
Easy access to piazza di Spagna, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi and numerous tourist attractions.
Collosseo and Vatican only a few stops away by Metro of Rome
Very comfortable settings of furnitures and especially the bed mattresses were extremely comfortable
I and my family felt right at home and had a very sound rest making us feel refreshed every morning.
Apartment has well equipped with kitchen utensils to cook at home as well as coffee maker (bialetti) and all the dishes and bowls you need to dine in.
There are many local stores in the neighborhood including grocery store that you can buy drinks, snacks and ingredients of any kind if you feel like cooking.
Well, there are couple of things that bothered us and one of them is that we found numerous ants crolling on our table in one morning when we had left some food over night.
But, it is a matter of cleaning your table after some snack or meal beacuse the residues may attract ants.
Another thing is that Two bathrooms are great, but shower booth in one of them is extremly tight even for a small and skinny person to move in the booth.
There is something that everyone should consider when planning to rent an apartment thru airbnb for your trip to Rome.
1. No daily cleaing, bed making or towel replacement (It is not a Hotel and you should not expect this kind of services.)
There is extra charge of 50 Euros for cleaing, but Nicola generously replaced our towels at our request without any extra fee.
2. Rome has strict policy of recycling and we could not throw away any of our garbages including organic waste during our 5 day stay.
This could generate some unpleasant smell in the apartment after a few days.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and Nicola was a great host.
We recommend Nicola's apartment for everybody and it is definitely a place we will return for our next trip to Rome.
My friends were telling me that touring Rome can be a hectic experience, but staying at Nicola's place totally proved otherwise. Our first day started out with a lost luggage at the airport. When Nicola found out, he went extra mile to help us (call the airport, get taxi, and write Italian writings on paper for personnels). We were very impressed by his kindness from the first day. He is also friendly and made us feel welcome.
The location was perfect. It's not a hotel next to some big street, but located at the center of historical district (cobbled street, many small local shops). It felt a few inch closer to more authentic Rome than staying at a big hotel. Pantheon is only couple corners away, and we literally stumbled upon it while going to the supermarket (we were not ready for it, stood there totally mesmerized). Famous Gelato shop near by (Giolitti). Love the bakery at the corner.
The apartment has cozy three rooms, and a living room area. Artistic and minimalistic atmosphere and comfy beds. It could be a bit noisy at night since the street corridor is very narrow and the car noise and people talking can echo up (people are out late during weekends). But I think it's part of experiencing 'we are not in Kansas anymore'.
We would recommend this place and Nicola to people travelling to Rome.
We stayed for a week in Nicola's apartment with our two children, ages 7 and 4. We could not speak more highly of the experience. We were met at the airport by Nicola's driver, Carlito, who was friendly, helpful and efficient and then met at the apartment by Nicola's charming parents who explained everything we needed to know both about the apartment and the neighbourhood in flawless English. Nicola had prepared a large bundle of laminated maps (with directions) showing the way to several of his favourite restaurants and cafes, several of which we tried and all of which were excellent. Even having seen the photos on airbnb, we were still amazed at the size, condition and appearance of the apartment: 3 spacious bedrooms, spotlessly clean, original 16th century features, attractive décor, comfortable beds with lovely linens, a kitchen with everything we needed for relaxed breakfasts at home and all in a secure building right in the heart of Rome. Even with 2 small children in tow, we did not need to take a taxi or public transport to any of the places we visited, including the Vatican, Colosseum and Borghese Gardens (great day out for kids btw). The street - Via dÁscanio - has very little traffic and within 20 metres you can find a grocer, a baker, a bar, a dry cleaner, an ATM and, a few steps further away in Piazza Firenze, Nicola's own Ciao Checca - a great place for lunch (check it out on tripadvisor). We cannot speak highly enough of this apartment and its owners and hope to return very soon.
The apartment is in the perfect location. We walked absolutely everywhere. The beds are super comfy and luxurious. 3 BRs and 2 BAs was perfect or us. The dining room area is the only "gathering place" outside of a bedroom. There is a small sofa and large table. We didn't use the washing machine and there is no microwave. These things were all fine though.
Fridgidarium is a short walk away and has amazing gelato! The 24 hour bakery around the corner was also amazing. I'm so glad we spent the extra money to stay at Nicola's!
The apartment is on the 4th floor and there is a small lift. The lift holds 2 people at a time though so we mainly took the stairs which was fine. Security was great and the area was very safe.
Nicola himself was fantastic. His communication prior to our arrival and help upon arrival were invaluable. We also used Carlito, his recommended driver for transport to and from the airport. Carlito had a wonderful large van that sat up to 9 people including the driver with plenty of space for our luggage. His rate of 80 euro each way for 7 people was competitive. He was very professional and always on time.
Stay here, you will be glad you did!
This is a beautiful apartment located in a great neighborhood within walking distance to many famous Roman sites.Nicola was the perfect host. The apartment was very comfortable for our family. Wifi worked well. His maps of local restaurants were helpful. The pictures of the apartment on airbnb were very (email hidden)e elevator worked well.Wished we had the time to stay longer. We will definitely rent this apartment again.
Fabulous location, such a quaint and lovely apartment. We had a blast staying here and truly felt like this place put us in the center of the action. Still, the street was very quiet.
The place was extremely charming and we felt like locals staying here, which is always fun.
Nicola was available when we needed him, to let us in and introduce us to the area. He even left us local restaurant recommendations which turned out to be excellent. I can't wait to come back to Rome!!! What a lovely city and a beautiful place to stay. Thanks Nicola!
We were 5 people in the apartment. Sleeping arrangements were perfect with large rooms for all. The apartment is in a great area with local shops and many restaurants nearby. It is close to Piazza Navona, The Spanish Steps, The Pantheon and Piazza del Popolo. We walked to all of the sites, well Rome is the worlds greatest open air museum. Nicola welcomed us on arrival to show us the apartment. There is a lift in the apartment so getting luggage up the 3 floors is no trouble. Nicola provides laminated routes to several restaurants to narrow down eating choices. However, its still fun hunting down your own selections. Around the corner is a 24 hour bakery for your breakfast or other needs, or just walk across the road from the apartment for a coffee at the bar like the locals. We enjoyed our stay and Nicola made it easier with his helpfulness, checking in after a couple of days to see if were OK. He also helped arrange transfers to the airport!
We enjoyed our stay in Rome very much!!! Of course that is partly because of the beauty of the city and the wonderful weather.
But staying in the beautiful, comfortable apartment was the other reason why we had such a good time. Nicola arranged transportation from and to the airport and was a perfect host.
The apartment is in walking distance of almost everything, perfect!!!!
Who knows...we'd really like to come back sometime.
