The space
Our home is a cozy rustic west coast cabin situated on the Sooke basin, with magnificent views and direct beach access.
Relax and enjoy the views from the cozy open plan space with living room, kitchen and dining area.
Experience waking in the king size bed to the amazing view, looking across to the Sooke hills, and an abundance of wildlife. Deer nibbling at the lawn, otters and seals swimming and playing, majestic eagles, cormorants, and many more. Hummingbirds at your window, so close that you can almost touch them.
Enjoy and relax in the attached, spa like bathroom. Destress and rejuvenate in the large jetted tub, or bring your essential oils and enjoy a decadent and therapeutic steam shower.
Walk through to the bedroom/closet space with bunk beds for your kids.
Sit out on the large deck, that spans the whole house, and watch the real life nature show unfold in front of your eyes. Or just get lost in your thoughts watching the ever changing water wash by.
The side deck and pond garden offers a sheltered oasis on windy days. Enjoy the lush gardens, relax and listen to the water trickle your stress away.
Above the pond garden sits the private suite with queen size bed and ensuite bathroom.
Please be aware there are various step downs throughout the home that may not be ideal for all guests.

We are situated in East Sooke, close to East Sooke Park and trails, about 20 minutes drive away from Sooke.
Sooke is rural Oceanside town and we may lose power in windstorms. Please check BC hydro for updates on our area. The power is usually back on in a few hours, but please contact Airbnb if it goes beyond this.
Please be aware there are various step downs in the home that may not be suitable for all guests are those with mobility challenges.
