About this listing
A very warm and welcoming 90sqm apartment in the recently appointed City of Culture for 2018. Its a great place to be at in Easter period too, when catholic religious activities go on right outside my door step which can be seen from the window in the guest's bedroom. The flat is on the third floor. It is located in one of the quaintest stepped streets in Valletta There is no lift, so please bear this is mind - there are 60 steps! Good for keeping fit! This old apartment is built in one of the prettiest and most sought after areas in Valletta just beneath the Upper Barraka Gardens and a few steps from Saint Barbara's Bastions; whilst being a stone throw from the centre. You'll love it! About me your hostess... I'm very friendly and can speak: English, Italian and can communicate abit in French and Spanish too and yes I do speak Maltese (mother tongue)!! About Valletta there is so much to say...but its best to come and see for yourself! I look forward to meeting you and being your hostess. Lorna was very friendly and made me feel welcome. The premises are as described, I couldn't have asked for more!
It's my first experience of visiting Malta, using Airbnb, staying 1 week at same accomodations. They are all very much SPECIAL for me. The"Lorna's Apartment", Valletta/Three Cities/Mdina/Gozo(diving:-)/Blue Grotto/many heritages, people,food...everything are unique & wonderful. Lorna was so much cared for me from C.I to C.O. It's a shame, the first day, I couldn't manage to call her with my moble phone but she found I was hanging around near her place and helped. Thanks for her and her friends, I felt so home, safe and comfortable through my stay. THANK YOU THOUSAND TIMES!!
Lorna's home is centrally located and has beautiful views over the Grand Harbour. Both Lorna and her cat were very friendly throughout the visit. It was easy to explore all of Valletta and Malta from her house and I was made to feel very welcome throughout the duration of my stay.
Lorna was a welcoming host who kept in close contact to arrange a meeting time. The view from the apartment is beautiful and the location is good. Thanks Lorna and Gigi for making me feel comfortable.
Lorna is a lovely host, and she (and Gigi) made me feel incredibly welcome. Lorna has a truly beautiful home, and it's well worth the stairs!
Lorna made me feel home, she is very welcoming and discreet host. Next time I'll go to Valletta I hope I will be able to stay at her place again. The location is great, in the city center, very close to the bus terminal and with a great view on the harbour. I loved it!
