A very warm and welcoming 90sqm apartment in the recently appointed City of Culture for 2018. The flat enjoys an amazing view over the world famous Grand Harbour which holds an amazing history as well as current show cases, like the annual fireworks festival held at the end of April, the Rolex Middle Sea race held mid October; as well as the daily harbour activity that includes: tug boats, cruiseliners, military vessels, oil platforms and many more other sea faring vessels. Its a great place to be at in Easter period too, when catholic religious activities go on right outside my door step which can be seen from the window in the guest's bedroom. The flat is on the third floor. It is located in one of the quaintest stepped streets in Valletta There is no lift, so please bear this is mind - there are 60 steps! Good for keeping fit! This old apartment is built in one of the prettiest and most sought after areas in Valletta just beneath the Upper Barraka Gardens and a few steps from Saint Barbara's Bastions; whilst being a stone throw from the centre. You'll love it! About me your hostess... I'm very friendly and can speak: English, Italian and can communicate abit in French and Spanish too and yes I do speak Maltese too!! About Valletta there is so much to say...but its best to come and see for yourself! I look forward to meeting you and being your hostess. The local bus system operates from Valletta and is some 10 minutes on foot from the flat itself.
WIFI included in the price.
An adorable place to stay! Lorna is a great host; she was helpful with everything. A big ‘Thank you’ again. The view is stunning. I would choose this place again and again.
excellent stay with Lorna! great host, lovely flat overlooking the harbour, strongly recommend it!
I just can thank Lorna for the lovely days I spent in Malta.
Location and conditions of her place are perfect, as well as company :)
Both Lorna and Gigi, her handsome cat, made my stay very pleasant.
She helped me to get a very nice taste of Malta with her comments and recommendations.
If you are thinking about visiting Malta, I would strongly recomend you to stay here.
A wonderful time in a beautiful place. Highly recommend.
Lorna is a wonderful, wonderful host. Her apartment is in a fantastic location, and - yes - as others have said, the view is amazing! When I arrived, Lorna immediately made me feel very welcome, and my whole six-day stay was a real pleasure. The apartment is clean, light, and feels open and relaxed. The guest bedroom looks out over St. Ursula Street, which is very picturesque, and - this being Valletta - church bells ring at night (this is just to let you know, but DON'T let it put you off!!). This was my first airbnb experience as a guest, and it has completely converted me to this way of travel.
Lorna was an excellent host, her apartment and Valletta are so lovely. She was gracious enough to pick me up at the airport, and suggested places to visit during my brief stay in Malta.
Gigi is a sweetheart, and although I have cat allergies, didn't have any issues with him. Internet isn't super reliable in the room, but the living room is a great place to work and relax.
It was a pleasure staying with Lorna. The room was cosy and clean, Lorna was a delightful host and incredibly helpful when it came to local knowledge. I had my own private bathroom and the experience was far superior to staying in a hotel. Warmly recommended!
I really don't know what to say. Everything was just perfect.
I have arrived in malta with the hope to have a good accomodation and i have left Malta not only with the best ever accomodation but also an amazing friend & lovely memories ! I warmly recommend Lorna - she been an amazing tour guide, lovely company & great host!
