About This Listing
Old cottage close to the historic Lisadell House is set on three acres with a view of Ben Bulben. It is in the heart of Yeat's Country, 6 miles from Sligo town and 10 minutes drive to some of the best surfing beaches in Ireland. The house has three double bedrooms, a pull out sofa bed, very large modern kitchen cum living room with an aga range, cosy sitting room with wood burning stove, two bathrooms, conservatory, courtyard and large patio area.
We all loved Vivienne's house in Sligo, beautiful location and the design of the house just made us want to spend more time there. Great books and mum and I enjoyed a few rounds of backgammon! Close enough to Sligo and other towns for dinner if you don't want to cook but far enough away to ensure total tranquility. Vivienne was a great host, very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend
The house was wonderful - spacious and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay there. Vivienne was a great host, very concerned about our well being. I would highly recommend this location.
I had a lovely stay on this beautiful estate. The hospitality and communication was exceptional and beyond expectation.
The home is on a nice plot of land in a very quiet area. Finding the home is relatively easy and it is close enough to Sligo to have dinner there and return in a reasonable amount of time; there are a few pubs and restaurants closer than Sligo to the home as well.
The home itself is set back off the road in a private and modest lot. You will find that the house is a sweet combination of old and new architecture and decor. In the home there are at least five beds, all of which can sleep more than one.
Thank you again Charles and Vivienne.
