Rustic 1870's farmhouse in Loudoun, VA, off a scenic byway near Historic Harper's Ferry, wineries, casino, restaurants, farms, and adventure parks. Send a message for alternate dates, longer term, and special requests.

The space
The home is a very unique and rustic log farmhouse built circa 1870. The home has all of the modern conveniences but retains much of its original rustic character. The home is in a valley between two mountains, Short Hill to the East and the Blue Ridge to the West.

The house has a large room for relaxing, and dining. A full kitchen, two bedrooms, and a sitting area. There is a large covered front porch with chairs for relaxing. The porch has a view of the vineyard across the street, and is great for sipping wine and watching the cars go by.

The best part about the Western section of Loudoun is the many activities, history, wineries, and scenery. A rural setting with quick access to several towns and cities. The wineries often have festivals with music and dining. During warmer weather amazing BBQ can be had on either end of the strip.

The house backs up to over 600 acres of conservation and parkland. The Appalachian trail and hiking are accessible from the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship, as well as other locations. There are many hikes available around the area.

There are several adventure parks for outdoor adventures, as well as many historical parks. There is a lot to do and see in the area.
