Response from Grace:

Thank you for your stay. It was nice meeting you and your family. I had no problems with any noise that your son made and, in fact, I felt he was very well behaved and quiet.

I always appreciate feedback, as I am constantly looking to improve my future guests' Airbnb experience, so thank you for your review. I must admit to being surprised and somewhat confused by the review as you didn't indicate in any of our communication before, during, or after your stay that you had any questions or concerns about the accommodations. I would like to address a few of the issues that you mentioned. The listing states that the bathroom is shared. It also states that a separate key is provided upon request for the private entrance. I make a point to clarify this during check-in and specified that the key supplied was to the back door only as most guests have usually opted to use the back door. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear in explaining this. As can be seen in previous reviews, others have used the private front entrance without any problems, but I have now included both keys together. My dog, Vasco, does bark at times, mostly when someone enters the house. I mention this in the house manual so that it is not completely unexpected. I also endeavor to keep his barking to a minimum, especially once it gets late or guests have retired for the evening. I do not mind noise myself, but try to keep quiet myself out of consideration for my guests who may wish to rest or relax. I do not impose this on anyone else as long as the noise level does not disturb others. It is a lived-in home and some level of general noise is expected, especially when children stay, and this is completely normal and welcomed. I apologize if I gave you the impression otherwise. I'm always happy to answer any questions or concerns my guests may have during their stay and I say as much during check-in. I want all my guests to have a pleasant and enjoyable stay. I wish you had asked about some of these things as I would have happily addressed them and reassured you.
