Lester, family and staff were great hosts. Location was perfect, safe, and very quiet. Room was clean, spacious, and lovely. Great a/c and wifi. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Highly recommended and would definitely come back here again.
Lester was a great host. His family and the staff were more than very friendly. We had an awesome stay in a large room, which was clean and chilled, we didn't even have to use the AC. Lester's place is super-central, near to the sunday walking market street and actually really close to everything we wanted to see in Chiang Mai. The staff helped us renting a motorbike and made our stay as perfect as it could have been. Absolute recommendation for your Chiang Mai stay!
Seven Suns became my home-away-from-home while on my Thialand adventure. I couldn't have asked for more and enjoyed the hospitality immensely. Lester and Sun receive their guests as if they were family and ensure you have a comfortable stay. They are willing to help in any way whether it's suggesting a day excursion, good eats or calling a taxi. I would recommend staying at this place to all of my friends! Sure, one may find a cheaper place in Chiang Mai, but, the hospitality, location and nice amenities make it worth while. Not to mention fresh coffee in your room from the local hill tribes. Thanks for the great stay! I hope to return.
I stayed four (4) nights at the Seven Suns and it was great. Lester did my checkin and welcomed me to Chiang Mai. My room was spacious and comfortable. The furniture is made locally and very nice. The kitchen is modern and the food is excellent. There's also a bar and plenty of beer. The staff is helpful and the interaction with other guests made my trip interesting. Thanks Lester !
So comfortable it was actually sad to leave even if it was just to get a massage. Great spot on the ground floor for breakfast... Lester was there every morning to great you with a smile. I highly recommend staying in Seven Suns!
We had a nice but quick stay at Lester's our last night in Thailand. We would have loved to be able to stay longer! The room was perfect, very clean and inviting. We had our own bathroom and kitchen sink. The room was air conditioned and we had a restful night before our long day of travel.
The house is really clean and spacious. Also, the staffs were really friendly and trying to help me with anything I asked. I think I would stay again if I go back to Chiang Mai.

I am and American male now living in Thailand for 19 years. My wife is a Lao National and we both have many years of experience in the hospitality industry. We moved to Chiang Mai over a year ago when we purchased Seven Suns Residence, and have now finished a complete "top to bottom" renovation of the building and are ready to welcome people from all countries to our home in Thailand.
