My home is a bijou, one bedroomed, light and sunny flat. It is my home and therefore I do have my belongings there. Steps lead down to the front patio where you can sit on a bench amongst the plants and soak up the afternoon sun and the sound of the seagulls. The bedroom looks out on to the front patio. It has a comfortable bed, cotton bed linen, storage for clothes, an antique mirror and a digital radio. I enjoy cooking so the kitchen has everything you need and looks out on to the courtyard at the back of the flat which has a table and chairs to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The bathroom has a powerful shower and heated towel rack. The sitting room has a comfy L shaped sofa and side tables, a TV/DVD player and has wifi. There are many paintings on the walls to stir the imagination. The flat is 2 minutes walk from London Rd Station and easy access to Lewes, an Elizabethan town, the new Amex football stadium, Stanmer Park, Glyndebourne for Opera and Sussex University. It is also only 15 minutes walk to Brighton station and therefore London is only an hour away. The famous seafront, the North Laine and Lanes are 20 minutes walk away, full of interesting shops, delicious coffee and excellent restaurants. There are theatres, a museum and of course the Brighton Pavilion and Palace Pier. In May, Brighton has an exciting festival;open artist houses, free outdoor performances and many other events. If you want a change from the seafront a short bus ride or a drive will take you to the South Downs where you can stroll on the South Downs Way with spectacular views over Sussex. For a quiet night out the oldest cinema in England 'The Dule of Yorks' is only 5 minutes walk away showing many independent and foreign films. Brighton is a great place to visit - It has been compared to San Francisco and Melbourne for its easy attitude to everything and everyone.
