Salima was a fantastic host and she was very communicative both before and during my family's stay. The neighborhood was good and very central to many of the most notable sights in San Francisco. The apartment was very San Francisco and had the rustic charm that SF is known for. There is no common living room where you can sit down and watch TV but if you are using the apartment as a place to stash your belongings while you are out during the day and sleep at night then this is the place for you. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this place for travelers coming to San Francisco.
The apartment was lovely and in a great location! Salima was easy to deal with and got back to me quickly when door code didnt work.
Although advertised as sleeping six there are only two bedrooms so the extra mattress has to go in the living room/entry, which isnt ideal.
Warning, stairs are a bit of a killer and the front door keypad was really hard to use.
A charming apartment with perfect SF-air and ideal location. Salima is a attentive and very friendly host.
We do, however have some concerns, maybe it's us being choosy, but the standard is somewhat worn down, concidering what you pay. If you like rustic and tough style, this is a perfect place to stay. If you have trouble wit
h flaws like broken windows, mold in the curtains and wall sockets without cover you might not be fully satisfied. But, all this would be super easy to fix, and than rating would be top notch.
The appartment was wonderful! It looks exactly like it does in the pictures, It was very clean and we had everything what we´ve needed for our stay. It is enough space for 4 People. The location was perfect, in a quiet and nice area, not far away from the shopping areas and many bars and restaurants. The cable car station of Calfornia Street was only a few meters walk away so we had the possibility to be quickly in SFO downtown and the harbour etc. Salima was a great host. She was always available via airbnb messaging :-). We had a great stay in SFO in Salima´s appartment and would book it for further stays in SFO again.
Nice appartment, smells a bit old. We arrived late and missed one bed. Salima was very responsive and solved it within 30 minutes from calling her. Great location for a family of 5, breakfast restaurants around the corner.
Salima's apartment is located in an ideal spot in SF; it really couldn't get much better than this! The apartment is spacious, and worked out well for our family of 2 adults and 2 young kids aged 5 and 2. The kids slept together in one of the rooms on the queen bed, and had a blast with that. It is an older Victorian style home, so you can't go in there expecting an ultra modern, newly built home. But honestly, that is part of the charm that is Pac Heights in SF :-). The exception though, is the bathroom which has been very nicely remodeled.
Salima was a great host. We did have an issue upon our arrival, but Salima was very quick to resolve it. She showed great attention and care to our inconvenience and I believe went above and beyond to remedy it.
She also made herself extremely available throughout our entire stay. She quickly responded to all of our questions via text, which was really great of her.
On our last night, we hosted a dinner with my cousins. While the apt doesn't have an actual common living space, the dining room was great for that.
All in all, it was everything we needed to have a great week in SF!

About the Host, Salima
As a San Francisco native I LOVE this city and am always finding myself trying new restaurants or hoping over to Marin to hike or kayak around the bay! I am big on the outdoors too and my dog Sasha and I have a lot of fun hiking around the hills of SF.
A little known fact I love Mexican food and could honestly eat tacos everyday! :)
