The district of San Pablo is located 20 minutes far from the city center. This is a lively district, low houses, quiet and safe, very convenient for its variety of local shops and supermarkets and especially its tapas bars with terraces. For whatever you may need, you also have shopping centers within walking distance.
In the surrounding area you can enjoy the Buhaira Gardens, a green area with a Moroccan style in which to enjoy the cool shade of the trees. Just next to the Gardens of Murillo, and already close to downtown you must try the superb homemade ice cream parlor of Villar, they are unique!
Getting to the city center is quite convenient and fast: 20 min by foot, 15 min by public bus and 10 min by bike. Getting to other areas of the city and outside Seville is also easy because you're close to: bus stops, metro, public bicycle parking, and also quick access to the railway station of Santa Junta (4 minute walk). Seville Airport is just 15 min by bus.
For those who do not know Sevilla, the best time to enjoy it is spring, but this wonderful city is known for its great weather all year round, for the friendliness of its people and for its unique art, culture and history in Andalusia. The cradle of Flamenco and Sevillanas, Seville is an emblem of culture and a historic monument.
If your stay is long enough, you can always go for a day trip to visit the beautiful cities of Cádiz and Córboda by train. Easy, fast and very convenient!
Javier's room was great. Good location, amazing to have access to a bike and he was super helpful with information and language advice! The addition of an electric blanket was much appreciated! !!!
I arrived exhausted after a long trip and only one hours sleep so my Spanish wasn't great the first night, but Javier was patient and helped me improve it whilst I was there. He gave me some great advice on good places for Flamenco and where to get eat and when I missed my train back to Malaga (due to travel chaos in the city that day with Seville Marathon!) he let me stay on at the flat for a few hours until I could get a later train.
The flat is cozy and quiet and an easy walk to the city centre( or with the free use of Javier's bike rental card, it is only a five minute cycle). I definitely recommend staying with Javier whenever you are in Seville.
Totalmente recomendable
Javier was an excellent host. Thanks to his information I could explore Sevilla on a bike, eat at a local market and find great eateries near his home. Everything worked perfectly during the week I stayed in Sevilla. Sevilla is a vibrant city, even on a rainy Sunday. If you use his Sevici card his house is 5 minutes from the centre. His house is in a quiet neighbourhood. I slept like a rose in a comfortable bed.
Muy atento, buen lugar y acogedor.... Sevilla es hermoso!!! No dejen de visitarlo
My stay with Javier was absolutely fantastic, if you are planning to visit Seville and you want a relaxed place to stay, this is it.
Javier gave me a bike pass for the city cycle scheme and with the bike I was able to get from the house to the city centre in around 5 minutes. Javier will give you a map and recommend loads of hidden gems to visit as well.
After the bustle of the city centre it was nice to back to stay in a quieter area. There are some great tapas places and bars (and cheap) within a 2 minute walking distance from the house that Javier will recommend to you. I had a plate of the best octopus I've ever eaten and it was like 8 euros.
I was studying spanish while I was there, and it really was a great place to stay. I had plenty of space and a desk I could work at in my room.
If I needed anything, Javier would go out of his way to help and make me feel at home, he even picked me up and dropped me off at the airport.
Can't recommend this enough - Javier es un hombre fantastico! He really should be charging a lot more as well, so take advantage of this before he raises his prices!
Javier's place is very close to train station, and walking distance to the city center as well. He is very nice and offer help as much as he can. He has a lovely dog with name of Dana, Dana is cute and I like her. Really nice stay in Javier's place during my trip in Sevelle, I hope I can come back again next time.
Javier was a splendid host, welcoming and respectful. He even shared his dinner with me after I had a long day of traveling and a late arrival. Also, his dog was adorable and made it feel more like home for me. Thank you Javier!
