Great, large unit. Very quiet for NYC. We would rent it again.
I met Wally at the apartment for my three night stay. He was very accommodating and made arrival seamless.
I have stayed at many apartments in NYC for both extended stays for work and vacation trips with friends and family. This apartment was by far the very best I have stayed in. The typical NYC apartment is either cramped or not in the best location. This apartment is extremely large and directly on union square with great restaurants and bars close by.
I honestly have no complaints. I only hope it is available when I need it in the future........
Very nice space in a good location. Host was professional and very enjoyable to work with. Excellent value.
Very cool, ultra clean, well appointed and one of the best locations in NYC. Knowing you have a reliable host who scores top marks for communication is what makes this Airbnb experience so good.
What can be a very expensive city to stay in changes dramatically when you can cook and do your own laundry. For us the ability to cook an amazing piece of Aussie beef or a good old NZ lamb roast from Wholefoods meant we entertained every night in comfort and style. You will not find this much room for this price very often in any of the big cities of the world let alone New York. Super convenient Union Square is hands down my favourite spot to stay in. All the New Yorkers who visited were blown away by our accomodation. My only worry is that when I want to come back this place will be booked out. The loft is located at the back of the block which means that whilst there are no views you will sleep like a baby with pretty much no traffic noise (can't say that very often).
Wally's attention to detail and the luxury of staying in a home environment is what Airbnb is all about.
Book the loft and then relax knowing everything is taken care of - right down to the laundry detergent!
Thanks Wally for a brilliant 9 days - look forward to our next visit.
We had a really nice experience at this apartment.
The location is very good: subway just across the road, stores, supermarket, everything you need right there.
The apartment itself is very nice and spacious. We stayed there during a snow storm and the heat worked perfectly and the tub water was very good too, perfect temperature and pressure. Comfortable beds. Wifi worked great!
Overall a great experience, I would highly recommend it!
Wonderful, spacious loft with all the amenities you need and location that could not be better! Wally was super flexible with our traffic delayed arrival and had great advice on local restaurants. Had a wonderful time and can't wait to come back!
Wally was a wonderful host who went out of his way to be helpful including letting us into the apartment at 2am which we really appreciated. The location is excellent and the apartment is amazing - it is even better in real-life than it looks in the photos. We have rented apartments all over the world and this is definitely the best one we have stayed in. The booking process was very easy and Wally replied promptly to all communications.
In addition to being an amazing and spacious loft (the pictures don't do it justice), the communication and hospitality from Wally was superb! He provided everything we needed for an amazing time in NYC, including recommendations for transportation, eateries, etc. I highly recommend booking with him!
The Loft on Union Square was a great place to stay for 3 friends in November for a week.
Walter was a very good host, meeting us on arrival and explaining all we needed to know regarding the apartment and the area.
The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean and efficient.
The apartment is very secure.
Union Sq is a super place to stay - plenty of activity all around, good shopping, restaurants and close to transport.
Our only problem was that the wifi was intermittent and very slow.
We had a wonderful 2 weeks stay at Wally's loft and we could not fault it. The apartment was huge with high ceilings and large bedrooms and open plan living, dining and kitchen. Having 2 bathrooms was an absolute bonus. The beds were very comfortable, even the pull out lounge. The apartment was spotless and having the ability to cook was great. The farmer's market is across the road on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and they have a wide variety of fresh food. We bought eggs, cheese, bread and tomatoes to make a tasty breakfast. Although there are plenty of food places right at your doorstep. The longer we stayed in Union Square the more I realised that everything you would want or need is right there. The subway is right across the road so there is easy access to anywhere you want to go. If you are looking for a fabulous place to stay in New York this offers it exactly and Wally was an excellent host. We would highly recommend this apartment.
