This house is amazing! Super charming ("shabby chic") and felt spacious for one guest (me). The bedding in the master bedroom was great, and the kitchen was large and fully equipped. I loved writing in the sunny office. The only thing I think guests should know is that there's no shower, only a bathtub and a European style shower hose. Anna was a great host, very communicative but low key.
We had a great stay at Anna's cute place in Albuquerque. It was in a friendly street and very close to a supermarket. Anna was so accommodating especially when we had difficulty communicating without a cell phone. Anna was a fantastic host and source of information and left us to our privacy but we knew we could contact her if we needed to. We greatly appreciated being able to use her washing machine and would recommend this place without hesitation.
Fabulous cottage, artfully decorated and full of light. The beds and sofa were very comfortable, and the large open kitchen has an awesome commercial style stove. It's great that it had 2 full baths and a washer-dryer. Much appreciated! But when my husband and I ran quick baths at the same time the hot water didn't last...also there is no microwave.
Very convenient location on a very pretty street.
We loved our stay!
Anna is a wonderful host and I would recommend her place unreservedly.
This house is precious and perfectly located--10-minute walk to downtown, 10-minute walk to Old Town. The neighborhood is safe, cute, and funky, with parks, coffee, restaurants, etc., all just a few minutes away. The house is very clean and adorably decorated, full of antiques and art. Anna is very responsive and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again.
Beautifully designed interior, lots of space, very comfortable and clean. About a 15 minute walk to the Convention Center, less to Old Town.
Merci Anna
Lovely house, very comfortable and stylishly decorated.
Absolutely beautiful home! Anna was sweet and accommodating, and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. (Although, during our first night, when we parked in the street, our car was egged. I don't think that this is common -- it was a holiday week so I'm assuming a group of bored kids drove around and pranked whoever was available.) The kitchen was perfect for Thanksgiving, our bed was comfortable, and the heater worked great. This home is set up for those who can live without cable TV -- so there is a TV, but it is hooked up to a VCR player. Also, the bath tubs require that one bathe sitting down -- any people who need to stand may want to check out another place. All in all, beautiful, peaceful, and fantastically located.
This place is so wonderful!! I couldn't stop taking pictures of the room. There were all these cool perks, like an amazing industrial kitchen stove, candles and altars, and totally scrumptious picture books. Anna was super flexible, nice, great to meet and work with. The space is close to a grocery store, old town. I walked to a conference at the convention center every day while there, not everyone would want to do that but I loved it. During our stay there was a cat that 'lived' in the basement but came upstairs a lot--which depending on your perspective is a perk. It was for us.
A group of four took a course at UNM and stayed at Anna's. We had a wonderful time. It's a sweet cottage with charming details throughout and has a country style kitchen with modern appliances. We enjoyed cooking meals and sitting on the porch while there.
It's in a lovely neighborhood with a park on the corner and a brief walk to a great traditional New Mexican restaurant and a grocery store that carries organic products. You are about 5-10mins( by car) away from everything downtown, UNM, Nob Hill etc. It's in a great location, cute house, nice neighborhood.
Anna is simply lovely ! She made sure we had what we needed and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She was available via phone and email if needed and made us feel at home. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again.
