  • Staying at Villa Organi was a real treat. The garden is amazing! The pool was such a nice refreshment during the tropical days of Toscane. It was lovely to be served breakfast every morning at such a pretty spot. Monica & Massimo are real nice people, who know a lot about the surroundings and art etc in the villages nearby. Also, we were impressed by their own little museum, and all the stories the villa contains. The poolhouse with fridge functioned very well as hang-out for a glas of wine (M&M's daughter makes a very nice wine which you can buy) at night, as well as a lunch-spot.
Trips to Luca and Pisa are on a very doable disctance. And do go to Prato, it's really nearby and has a nice old town centre and museum.
The only thing we just didn't realize that well in advance is that you are staying at some one else's property, so we had to consider noise etc more than expected. The cottage you stay in is quite humid, but that also makes it a cool place, we slept like roses. And would definitly recomment it to others!

  • We had a great time at Monica & Massimo's cottage, especially the garden with the pool is just beautiful. They also offered great advice on what to do in the region.

  • We had an amazing stay with Massimo, Monica and Karolina. The history of the house, the great appartement, the museum, the swimming pool. But most of all the delicieus breakfast in the beautiful dining room. We also made friends with the cat and dog in the place. We would definately return to this place in the mountains.

  • The cottage was beautiful and our hosts were delightful. Very warm, very helpful. The main estate (their home) truly incredible. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet, secluded spot in Tuscany.

  • Absolutely lovely holiday with Massimo and Monica and the rest of their family. We are sad to be home and dreaming of their beautiful villa, wine, food and incredible tuscan scenery! Hoping to be back there as soon as possible!

  • This was the best part of our trip! We are so glad we carved a few days out of our itinerary to spend some time off the beaten path. It was like something out of a movie--gorgeous, picturesque, relaxing, quiet, romantic. Massimo and Monica were great hosts and made sure we were having the best possible stay at every turn. We elected to have Monica cook our dinners (in addition to the breakfasts that they include with the price of a night's stay) instead of finding restaurants and it was such a treat. We ate in their dining room while they ate in the kitchen, with their dog Lapo checking in on us/our food every once in a while. :) The whole experience was fantastic and I hope to be able to return some day!

  • We loved staying at Massimo & Monica's villa. Its in a good location, within 1-2 hours drive/train ride of all the places worth seeing in Tuscany. Highly recommend Monica's dinner option one night. The villa is very comfortable and the surrounding grounds are beautiful. Only slight downside is the lack of a real kitchenette but other than that we recommend this place wholeheartedly.

  • We've spent 5 nights at this fantastic Villa and we're really happy with our choice! Massimo and Monica are extremely hospital and kind people. Villa itself is something!! Its so ancient! If someone want to dive into real Toscana life - it is the best decision!! Fantastic museum of local artefacts right inside the house! Huge beautiful garden and great swimming pool!!
Positively recommend this place to those people who like to discover something really interesting and authentic.
Thank you so much Massimo and Monica!
    Vlada, Maria and Alexander.
Hope to see you next time we come to Italy!
