  • Our stay was awesome!
Because of a last minute mishap we ended up booking within hours of our arrival. We were assisted immediately through incredibly nice e-mails. Our host went above and beyond to help us out and make us feel at home. The apartment is lovely, minutes from the subway and the Barclay center. We loved the neighborhood and had the most amazing coconut iced latte on 5th av. Our bed was comfortable and we had a lovely stay.

  • My sister and I were looking for somewhere to stay near the Barclay's center for a concert, and KC's apartment was perfect. It was really cute and in a nice area of Brooklyn, as well as a short walk to Barclay's. My sister and I had fun exploring Brooklyn and felt very welcomed by KC and her roommate.

  • The apartment is very nice, with a rooftop, the neighboorhood is great, 5 minutes by foot from the subway and KC's roommate was very helpful. Also, the system for the keys is very simple. Nothing negative to say.

  • New York visitors and aspiring inhabitants,
I am not an avid blogger or reviewer, but my rookie nature as Airbnb user and exceptional residence at Kelsey and Joya’s surely invokes the need to write down a couple of words of praise for you fresh travelers. I thank both ladies for their exceptional hospitality, flawless organization and smooth communication skills. Kelsey was so kind to greet me well in advance with a warm welcome and various options to travel by subway or cab to their beautiful apartment in the pulsating heart of Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. My friend and myself had the honour delve into New York social life during rooftop drinks with Kelsey’s social circle. Joya’s welcoming message was so endearing I was eager to meet her. Maybe her invitation to help myself (email hidden) in the fridge had something to do with it. Sounds like music to the ears of an exhausted Belgian spending his entire day hopping trains from DC to NYC, from Penn Station to Atlantic Av.
Ladies and Gentlemen, you will be staying at a great apartment, stylishly decorated by two women who know what they are talking about. Both of them have a fine sense for interior decoration and fashion. You can make use of the common bathroom, which is - if you didn’t get already - impeccably clean and cozy. After an invigorating shower, relax a bit on the balcony amidst a plethora of herbs, plants and flowers. A true, albeit mini, botanical garden indeed. Please respect the rules of the house; come and go as much as you like, but treat your hosts and their neighbors with respect. Don’t fuck it up or you are ousted! Hospitality comes at the right price.
You are in the right area to venture out to all parts of NYC. At walking distance from the Brooklyn center/Atlantic Avenue subway station, you are in Manhattan in a heartbeat. But please, try Brooklyn and all its fantastic neighbourhoods, like Williamsburg, Carolyn Gardens and Boerum Hill as well. Some are family oriented, others are hipster, and still others are a gentle mix of both but always alive and never boring.
But still the best is (email hidden), where you the longer you stay the better it gets. And where you can check-out anytime, but can never leave…

  • We had a fantastic stay! The place is as pictured, except even more lovely at night. It was super clean. We didn't get a chance to meet Kelsey but she was super responsive to all emails and text questions and requests for suggestions. Her roommate Joya was also super helpful and welcoming. The place was close to the train and a nice shopping plaza where we could pick up some quick groceries. We felt safe and comfortable all weekend long. Check-in and check-out could not have been more stress free. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend this place to anyone else as well.

  • Kelsey was so great and helpful! Though we did not have a chance to meet her in person, she was really responsive leading up to our stay and checked in with us via text/email throughout to make sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was just as represented in the pictures, it was clean, close to the subway, walkable to lots of locations. She was a great host and even left us a basket with toiletries, a map, and a hair dryer to use! Her roommate was really friendly and helpful. She gave us suggestions for places to eat, information about train travel to the airport and was hospitable throughout our stay. We would definitely stay in Kelsey's apartment again!

  • Kelsey's appartement is located right in the middle of the laid back Brooklyn vibe. Subway access is easy too: Antlantic & Barclay Centre are just a 2-minutes walk away. Perfect!

The appartement is tidy, clean, comfortable and cosy. My room was facing the back courtyard so it was very quiet! I slept like a baby all through my stay.

Kelsey and Joya were very warm and friendly hosts. They made me feel right at home and made my first visit to NY a pleasure. Kelsey let me use her bike, showed me around Brooklyn and even gave me the grand NY tour (including a dinner with her friends). Doesn't get any better than that!

    Kelsey rocks. 5-star general.

  • We had a great experience at Kelsey´s place. Even though we never met her, she was always available to help us. Also her roomate was very helpful.
The apartment is beautifull, and very well located.
Excelent Brooklyn experience, I highly recomend her place.

  • Although we only communicated electronically and by phone, I felt that we had very positive relationship. Her apartment was charming, well equipped, and in an excellent location with interesting views, and had the added bonus of a balcony. The apartment was immaculate, well appointed with tasteful furnishings, and yet not crowded.
In addition to the amenities, the building is well secured with electronic entry for tenant and a voice system for guests. The trip to the 4th floor apartment was easy with the building's elevator. For the hearty, there are the stairs.

Often I have difficulty sleeping away from home, but I was able to sleep soundly and awaken refreshed through my entire stay. I was not disturbed by any NYC night noises. I heartily recommend Kelsey airbnb apartment. Would definitely stay there again.
