This unique apartment, at the highest point of Anzère village, just a few meters from the main ski lift (télécabine), looks down (south) on the entire valley, embracing an incredible landscape. The light and the sun fill the apartment from dawn to sunset, giving it a wonderful warmth. This warmth is created also by the parquet wooden floor in the living room, the boiserie on the walls and on the ceiling, and the fireplace.
When you come home from skiing, you can arrive with your skis just in front of the entrance of the building, where you can leave your equipment and go home. The elevator brings you up to the 6th and last floor of the building, where the penthouse is located.
This penthouse of 90 sqm has a comfortable living room full of light with a fireplace, wooden floor and a dining table, sofas sitting 8 persons (one is a sofa bed). The living room, as well as the master bedroom, open on a wonderful terrace of 11 sqm overlooking the whole valley. The kitchen opens on the living room, and is equipped with a fridge, a freezer, an oven, and a 5 burner electric stove. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second bedroom and its attached bathroom are on the upper floor, directly under the roof, and very cosy.
There is a parking place in the garage, a cellar, and a cupboard for the ski-equipment, in the basement of the building. In the basement there is also a washing-machine which can be used by all residents.
There is a free wifi-system working in the whole village.
In the village of Anzère there is the new Anzère Spa & Wellness, where you can swim (there is also a little play-pool for children), enjoy a massage, a jacuzzi or solarium while looking on the majestic landscape of the Alpes valaisannes. This is an ideal way to relax after a day on the mountain.
The Valais Region (Switzerland): Some of the most stunning Alpine scenery is to be found in the Valais region of Switzerland. At the heart of the Rhone Valley is the historic fort town of Sion, which is 20 minutes away. Other aspects of the region include excellent local wines, thermal hot springs, traditional foods such as raclette, and the local firewater Le William!
Skiing: Anzère is a medium sized friendly family ski resort. The snow record of Anzère is excellent. There are a wide range of mountain restaurants, with superb views, and great food.
Access to many other ski areas is possible. These include Crans-Montana, which neighbours onto Anzère, and on the opposite side of the Rhone is the Four-Valleys ski area, which includes Verbier, & Nendaz. Further a field, are the resorts of Zermatt, & Saas-Fee.
Golf: 15 km from Anzère is Crans-Montana with its 18 holes golf course (par 72). The Golf Club hosts the European Master Golf Tournament annually, one of the main European events. There is also a 9 hole course, designed by Jack Niklaus (par 35). Another 9 hole course for beginners at Super Crans. The view from the apartment is truly stunning. The proximty to the gondola and slopes made the holiday for us. We liked Anzere because everything you need is close. Highly recommended. Thanks Veronika
We spent a wonderful week in Veronika's apartment in Anzere. It was bright and airy; incredibly close to the main telecabine (across the road); beautiful views of the Alps; etc etc. Our family felt very much at home. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth, and communications with Veronika were very easy. Thank you again.
