The building itself is a dated Japanese apartment building built in 1971. Once you step inside this private apartment you’ll see a sharp contrast from your first impression outside. The interior of the apartment was newly renovated.
The apartment itself is a spacious thirty two square meter one bedroom apartment (a lot bigger than most of the tiny studios in Tokyo!) and gets plenty of natural sunlight. There is a traditional Japanese style bath and shower. Utilities and high speed internet with wifi are all included, as well as all the other amenities to make your stay comfortable.
Our apartment’s location is the ideal base for exploring Tokyo. Our property borders Hinokicho park in Roppongi Tokyo Midtown and we are only a one minute walk from the entrance. Roppongi Tokyo Midtown is home to the Ritz Carlton Hotel (that’s how great the location is!) and a plethora of chic eateries and upscale bars. Our apartment offers fantastic transportation access as well. We’re only a five minute walk to Roppongi Station and Nogizaka Station. But if you want to enjoy the urban landscape by foot, Omotesando (Tokyo’s fashion district), Harajuku (street and pop culture Japan), Roppongi (nightlife and entertainment) are all within easy walking distance. There’s a large supermarket located in the Tokyo Midtown development, as well as ATMs/banks, Starbucks, restaurants, and boutiques.
ART, FOOD, CULTURE:
The National Art Center which is a massive venue with changing art exhibitions is only an 8 minute walk away. They have exhibitions of local artists with many interesting and unique pieces from all over Japan. From the apartment you can also take a leisurely stroll past Nogizaka shrine and continue on through Aoyama Cemetary which has beautiful sakura trees that blossom every spring. The road takes you down Omotesando dori which has some of the most unique architecture in the world. Continuing down Omotesando dori you hit Harajuku which is the epicenter of Japanese pop and street culture.
For you epicureans wanting to experience Japanese cuisine, you can easily walk to some of the best ramen, sushi, udon, and teppanyaki restaurants in Japan from our apartment. Just let us know what you’re interested in and we can help you out with your itinerary. We’re locals and can help you get off the beaten track.

Coming from Narita Airport, you can take either the Airport Limousine Bus (3,000 yen) to the Ritz Carlton Hotel at Tokyo Midtown and walk five minutes to the apartment. Everything was great. All the staff is nice. And even the man in the entrance is so kind. Was the second time we stayed there and was all good.
Oak Oak team was really helpful, fast response to any of our inquiry. I was staying in this apartment for 6 nights and really enjoy it, from the apartment's cleanliess to the neighbourhood which is close to many famous and beautiful places. We got to see several times the light-up sakura in Tokyo Midtown, had dinner at "Kill Bill" restaurant as they are close to this apartment.
I absolutely would stay here again when I visit Tokyo next time.
The location is superb. And the fact that there is a park behind the apartment - our sakura experience was beyond our expectation. Also, roppongi is a great neighbourhood. Me and my friends really enjoy our stay.
The building is kinda old - but inside the apartment was completely the other way around. Spacious and brand new. Weird pillow tho..but thats not a big deal. And the fact that we had the portable wifi - made our stay much-much easier.
Also the host was really - really helpful. They even checking on us after the first night. Superb! Def will stay here again.
Let's get this straight: do NOT waste money on this apartment!
Pro: everything needed is this apartment.
Cons: everything needed is here, but they are not good enough, even (website hidden) is in a wired place and I can hardly find a place to watch it; the air conditioner can hardly work; the pin of wifi is totally wrong; pillows are not comfortable; sleeping on the upper bed is pretty shaky. Bathroom is terrible: it smells bad; it has a wired layout; it is super cold all the time; the toilet is even worse than that you can find in a shopping mall; taking a shower is not that convenient; the outlets beside the bathroom is super loose and it's suffering to use hairdryer at there.
The worst part is the noise. There is a construction site in front of the building and I am not notified before or immediately after I booked the room (canceling is NOT free!!), and I have to wake up around 8 am every morning. What's more, the people living in upper level are constantly making noise in the evening, which makes it extremely painful to sleep at there.
This apartment does locate around 3 metro stations but it takes way longer than you thought to actually go to the place that you can take the metro. And walking from metro station to this apartment is definitely not a good experience.
I do not know how these good comments come from. My friends and I are not satisfied with this apartment at all, and one of my friends got cold because the poor heating system at here. Thanks for ruining my trip.
My suggestion is do not hesitate to spend more money on booking a 4 or 5 star hotel on Expedia, etc. You can get absolutely great service from these hotel, and have a nice rest after walking for a whole day in Tokyo. Tokyo is such a great city and it has so many places worth going, do not let the place you live ruin your trip, your trip in Tokyo deserves a better hotel or apartment, but definitely not this one.
Great location! Comfy beds and all the basic amenities available. We were able to fit 4 but was a bit of a tight squeeze.
Estuvimos tres días visitando TOkyo y el apartamento esta en una ubicación muy buena. El apartamento esta bastante bien. Lo mejor su ubicación.
Ideal to stay and visit Tokyo, near Midtown, with metro and buses, very practical.

Konnichi wa! Hello from Tokyo!!! I love to share with you the beauty of contemporary Japanese culture. Having backpacked around the world I know first hand how it feels to be in a new country and to immerse oneself in a new culture. I'm inspired by those little details that we encounter everyday but often get overlooked in our busy lives in Tokyo from signboards to toy designs to building architecture. I would love to share with you our passion for art, Tokyo street culture, and local cuisine!
