Our stay at Takoma Bliss B&B was more than we could've hoped for. The space was more comfortable than we hoped. Anne offered fantastic suggestions for local dining, and provided a delicious gluten-free breakfast for us. It was a perfect place to rest on our whirlwind tour.
I will be staying at Takoma Bliss for my next trip to DC.
We had an excellent stay at Takoma Bliss, while doing some sight seeing and museum going in Washington. Anne was a fantastic host, providing us with comfortable and charming accommodations, fresh and delicious muffins and other pastries for breakfast, and lots of detailed instructions. She was also very responsive to our questions. The apartment was perfect for my family of four, including my two kids, who enjoyed the assorted games and toys as well as the lovely yard. We would definitely return.
My parents, dog, and I stayed at Takoma Bliss for one night. Anne thought of everything that one could need-- from an umbrella by the door to a medicine cabinet stocked with toiletries. It's a great location if you're traveling to D.C. with a car- there's plenty of street parking, the neighborhood is safe, and you're very close to the red line, which will bring you into the city quickly. We also appreciated the recommendations for places to eat in Takoma Park and the muffins and coffee.
This was not what I expected and I would not return.
Anne was a wonderful host. Very responsive and flexible, and the muffins are a lovely touch. The unit is great for kids and it was nice to have both a bedroom and living room space.
This was our first Airbnb rental and we were delighted with the whole experience. Anne was an excellent host, our 3 kids loved the space, and that morning muffin delivery (even in the surprise spring snow) was such a treat. Easy walk to Takoma Park through a really nice neighborhood. Anne even shoveled us out the morning we left so we could make our flight! Highly recommend a stay here.
Anne is an amazing host! She is great with communication prior to my stay and has made my visit to Takoma Park an easy experience. She is very accommodating and respects your privacy. Her place is spacious and very clean. The bedroom is very comfortable and definitely feels like a home away from home. Anne's place is my first choice when I visit Takoma Park again!
Fantastic B&B in Takoma Park! We stayed for the weekend with our dog and enjoyed Anne's hospitality and warm muffins at breakfast. She includes little instructions throughout the house for how to use things as well as recommendations for places to eat -- all of which we found helpful. Will definitely return!
Takoma Bliss was the perfect home base for the DC area college visits my son and I had planned. The space was lovely and we had plenty of room. Anne was a great communicator and has truly thought of everything to make her guests welcome and comfortable. She was available to us but let us come and go as if it were our own space.
I highly recommend Takoma Bliss and Anne. The only issue some people may have is that you can hear activity upstairs. It didn't bother us but if you're sound sensitive you might want bring earplugs and a white noise machine. I use them at night whenever I travel and slept like a baby. Enjoy!
My stay with Anne was short but really lovely. The location was great. Check in and out were very easy. The cottage was very clean and neat and offered everything I could have wanted. It was very quiet and I felt at home right away. I was sorry to have to leave early in the morning because I missed out on the homemade muffins that are offered. Overall, I would happily recommend this space to others and I would definitely stay there again.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
