Enjoy your stay at Takoma Bliss!
What a treat it was to stay at Takoma Bliss B&B! The home is lovely, extremely comfortable, and very clean... with great detail given for guests to navigate the environment with ease. It felt like home. We were in DC for my Georgetown graduation, and getting to and from the place was extremely convenient with the metro within easy walking distance. Every morning was a treat to discover what goodies Anne had left for us in the morning breakfast basket and the kitchenette was stocked with many basics to get us through the day. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously, from enjoying a family movie night, sitting out chatting on the back porch, to family games (the place has many to choose) when we were home, there was always something to entertain us! Anne has gone to great lengths to make a warm and inviting space for guests- and it shows. Her flexibility in scheduling was also exceptional, we would highly recommend staying here!
We had a lovely experience! Very close to the metro, the place was beautiful and they also brought us delicious muffins and orange juice in the morning. Would love to stay again!
Anne was great, we needed a little extra time on the day we were checking out and Anne took care of it. The place was well kept and very organized. There was plenty of room for the two of us and our puppy. Thank you Anne,
A great place to stay in a very beautiful part of Washington DC (Takoma Park). Anne's place is very convenient to public transport, some good restaurants and local shops. The apartment itself is cosy and comfortable and Anne has provided heaps of helpful notes around the place to help guests acquaint themselves with how everything works. Anne also offers several services at minimal cost which is perfect for things like laundry or a lift to the Metro station. Lastly, Anne is a lovely, friendly person who is very responsive to emails and texts. Overall, a highly recommended property to stay when visiting Washington.
Very pretty location in a quiet neighborhood. The ground floor apartment was completely ready for 3 kids and 2 adults. Our host brought us a fresh breakfast each morning of bagels and juice. The apartment was clean and fully equipped with small fridge coffee pot and lots of towels.
We loved it.
Good accomodation, clean and cozy. Enough space of six persons. Close to the underground and the old Takoma town, a good place to plan your visit to Washington DC.
Anne is a great host, communication with her was easy. She brought us some breakfast the day we continue our journey even though it was very early in the morning!
An amazing experience at Takoma Bliss B&B... so many little things to make us feel cozy and welcome, ample towels and linens for our 5 day stay, lots of room for our morning stretches, the continental breakfast at our doorstep every morning, great light and lovely yard, beautiful neighborhood for strolling, close to trains, tons of resources about getting around town... the list goes on. We plan on coming back!
