Your room is tucked away by the kitchen in the back that you'll get the privacy that you'd like. You'll have full access to the Kitchen with a dining table and appliances (microwave, rice cooker, etc.), as well as living Room with our TV and Apple TV/Speakers.
Interaction with Guests
You will share the flat with my amazing roommate Sarah & another Airbnb guest. My schedule is quiet busy & I may be out of the house a lot, but we are always available to answer any questions and help make your Airbnb experience memorable.
Nestled in our Victorian flat, you will get the best location, hosts that will acquaint you into the city, and a clean, quiet and safe place to stay. We are geographically located in between Alamo Square and Lower Haight (a block away). It is also only a couple blocks from Hayes Valley. You will be close enough to Alamo Square park with a short 5 minute walk but when it really matters you’ll be steps away from great restaurants, bars and boutiques at Lower Haight and Hayes Valley to have a great time! If you are looking for a place to live in the city - this will be a central location to all the places you'd want to consider living in as well.
Muni (Bus Lines) in close walking distance-
* 22 : It is right out your door. This will take you to other areas like the Castro, Pacific Heights, Marina, Mission, Japantown, Potrero Hill, and the Fillmore District.
71 : A 2-minute walk. This will take you to Haight Ashbury, Sunset District as well as Golden Gate Park. With a quick transfer you could even go to the Golden Gate Bridge!
N Light Rail: A 5-minute walk. Go straight into Downtown and the Union Square area! (15-minute ride)
There is street parking around the neighborhood but sometimes not the easiest to find since we are such a frequently visited area! If you are driving, we’ll provide you some tips and suggestions for parking according to your needs.
Closest ones in Downtown and the Mission which have an easy transfer to one Muni line to our place. Bart is great from the Airport if you chose not to drive which I highly suggest! Let me know ahead of time about your trip and I could organize picking you up from a station for easy travel. That is not a problem :) If you are looking to go outside the city, this is always an option as well.
Other Things to Note
Feel free to reach out if you have any other questions. I know that planning your trip is very important so I am happy to promptly respond to your messages/requests.
We rent 2 rooms on Airbnb in this house, this being one of them. Every Airbnb guest we accept is "long term" and basically a roommate to us. Be ready to make new friends! :)
Unfortunately we don't allow overnight guests during your stay. We also ask that you don't smoke or do anything illegal in the house.
Amazing city with lots of fun people and fantastic places. I wish I stayed longer!
Had a great stay in this airbnb! Awesome location near transit, restaurants and a safeway. The place is very nice and a perfect base from which to explore SF. :) Happy I had the opportunity to stay here.
I stayed at Natasha's for a week.
All the common areas were kept clean and tidy throughout my stay. The apartment is conveniently located in an area close to public transportation. Getting around was very easy.
Check-in was a very smooth process.
I had a great stay and Natasha is a very friendly person.
I stayed at Natasha's for a month.
Natasha was awesome! Check-in was super smooth. I wanted to ask lots of questions before moving in but Natasha had prepared a whole booklet of everything I needed to know. This is a great room if you're transitioning into the city or is here temporarily.
Room: The room was small but very charming. The room was very clean and there was towels and linens provided. The pillow was super comfortable (felt like memory foam). There was enough closet space and a cute little organizer for small items like jewelry. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the bed slats kept falling through, which made the drawers at the bottom of the bed hard to open.
Location: Loved the neighborhood. It is about a 15 min walk away from Whole Foods, and a 10 min walk to the N as well as the J MUNI line, and there are even more MUNI lines a few minutes further away, so getting around was no problem. Also, there is a CVS close by.
Absolutely loved staying here. Much better than staying at a hotel I was thinking about booking. Natasha was very understanding when my flight got delayed by almost a whole day which made my check-in drama free. The neighborhood is a great location if you're trying to get to downtown or to do some sightseeing, the bus stops are less than a block away. Plenty of food stops around and groceries if you want to buy your own stuff. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place to stay for an extended period.
Very streamlined check-in. I arrived late, but everything was well documented and worked well. The place is walkable to Hayes Valley and Japantown. The metro and many bus lines are also easily accessible.
I'm so glad I stayed with David. Let's walk through those checkboxes, shall we?
Location: Perfect. I was headed all over the city, and never had a problem getting anywhere.
Room: Everything I needed, nothing I didn't. Quiet, clean and comfortable.
Experience: David was crazy helpful, and a joy to be around. Definitely made me feel less like a guest-from-the-internet, and more like a friend-of-a-good-friend.
If I come back to San Francisco again, I'll definitely be hitting up David again to see if I can stay there.
