Very comfortable and lovely property. Very friendly hosts and great breakfast. Would highly recommend!
Even though I made my reservation REALLY late and arrived late, one of the hosts was waiting up for me. A note had been left, as well, letting me know what to do so that I could enter and get settled in easily. The room is exactly as it looks in the picture. I have allergies, and the room was wonderfully clean and inviting. A late wake-up call was provided and a European-style breakfast was provided. It's a great place to stay! And I could see the Monterey Bay from my room's window. There are inviting gardens surrounding the house and the other guests were so much fun to chat with. Thanks, again!
Our stay here was incredible! The room was so clean and the hosts to a great job of communicating from start to finish. It was our first airbnb and I must say I was skeptical! I would definitely return anytime I'm in the area. Breakfast was soooo good -- they provided gluten free bread to accommodate food allergies. It couldn't have been a better experience. 5 stars!
This house is an oasis! After a couple days of camping and a long drive through the night, our stay with Annemarie and Jocelyne was just what we needed. The house is warm and inviting, with so much attention to detail. It was the perfect jumping off point to explore Big Sur, Monterey, and Carmel. Annemarie had great hiking tips and it was wonderful to hear Jocelyne's stories of her time in Big Sur. Overall we were more than pleased and look forward to returning! Thank you Annemarie, Jocelyne, and Jesse!
We really enjoyed our stay in this great house. Beautifully furnished, spacious and immaculately clean. The breakfast on offer was more than adequate and we were made to feel really welcome. Thankyou
From the moment we walked in till the moment we left, we felt welcome. Jessie welcomed us with open arms and offered great suggestions to do in the area.
The lodgings are exactly like the pictures. The room was very spacious and had enough room for me and the girl friend and our bags with room to spare. The room was clean enough to sleep on the floor but of course with the large spacious bed we didn't have to. There were cookies down stairs for whenever we had a sweet tooth and the free breakfast in the morning was both healthy and delicious.
I met their dog (Benny?). He was very friendly and even if you aren't a dog person, he might change your mind.
We had a great stay at the Historic Landmark house! We were instantly made welcome into their beautiful home and were even invited to join them watching a movie outside in the garden with them! We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back one day!! Thank you!

Jocelyne, originally from France, came to the US in 1958 to raise her family on the Big Sur coast. She and her son Jesse are a great connection to recommend local activities . Annemarie, originally from Canada, married Jesse and is still exploring California herself,
We love to travel, meet new people, taste foods from around the world and explore.
