Living room with fireplace. Kitchenette with tea and coffee maker and microwave. Private shower and toilet. In living room is an extra sofa bed available.

Leerdam is located 20 km south of Utrecht with the (old) cities Culemborg, ‘s Hertogenbosch, Gorinchem, Dordrecht nearby.

Within Leerdam itself you have the beautiful environment of the river “de Linge” where you can have canoe and / or bike trips and the national glass museum. The Diefdijk is part of the national dutch waterline (Hollandse Waterlinie) with his defense systems like forts and bunkers.

Check In

  • Who could guess such a wonderful piece of nature is hidden right off the main highway, so close to the big cities? Here, it feels like you're far away from everything, between thousands of beautiful fruit trees and green fields. The house itself is super comfortable and cozy, with a woodstove and bedstead! The lovely hostess Marie Antoinette is very friendly and eager to make sure her guests have a great time. Perhaps the best part of staying here is the amazing breakfast, with freshly baked break, croissants, fresh orange juice, eggs and much more. Truly loved it!

Alles da, was man so braucht.

  • Really lovely place!! Keep in mind there's no kitchen, so bring some camping - kitchen - gear and you'll be (website hidden) looks really nice, is well furnished, clean and cosey. Marie-Antoinette is lovely: very hospitable and caring, as well as her husband. We'll be back!

  • Marie was very welcoming and warm. She made our stay easy and was helpful in sharing information about restaurants and where to find other services. This is indeed a little house in the middle of nature. She welcomed us to walk on her farm--in the mist it was delightful.

  • this really is a little paradise in nature! The host Marie Antoinette welcomed us with a great smile. surrounded by the sounds of chickens, sheep, geese, and frogs we had the best sunset view from our terrace. during the day the ripe apples, pears, and walnuts were waiting to be plucked from the trees. The breakfast was beyond words... Everything delicious, home made and organic. definitely worth a visit, and only 20-40 minutes from Utrecht/Amsterdam!

I'm living in the rural area of Leerdam, 20 km underneath Utrecht. I love living in the middle of nature, working outside and creating and caring for the environment. With respect for nature I manage our 5 acres of land to enrich the biological diversity. Next to my work in nature I am a coach and offer retraites.
