There are plenty of shops of literally all kinds everywhere around the apartment, and tons of cool cafes and bars. It´s a very vivid street with a lot going on. The whole area is very hip and very multi-cultural at the same time, with indian restaurants, african restaurants, french restaurants, cool "american" burger-restaurants, healthy little juice bars and so on.
A major advantage of this apartment is its location in a central area, which is popular during the day (great shops) and trendy during the night (bars and restaurants). This high contrast and vibrant neighborhood is a new hot spot for creative professionals.
It is located in the middle between Grands Boulevards, Montmartre, Gare du Nord (Access to airports), the Canal St. Martin, Republique, Le Marais, le Sentier, Les Halles.
One little warning: like many neigbhourhoods that become trendy. also this area used to be a poorer part of town and is now developing fast, but you will still see traces of the previous state. Some people might be uncomfortable with a beggar or a drunk person here and there so i want to honestly tell you, you will come across them. The area is by no means dangerous, but some guests might still feel that way because of it´s variety of inhabitants.
I know from living here, it is a very cool spot and it is my favorite street in Paris! :)

Justin was a fabulous host! The apartment was amazing. Great location. Easy to get around - if you don't mind walking for 20+ minutes you can get around to the popular sites easily.
Had a blast and can't wait to go back to Paris!
Merci! danke schon Justin!
Excellent apartment, 5 of us shared, really distinctive place, good location. Would recommend!
Great space in very close to all the places to see in Paris. We liked it! Clean home and nice place to chill out.
It was a great stay in Paris and we were all in love with the appartments. First of all it was very unusual and sooooo nice. Besided the towels were included and everything you need. It was even different kinds of tee and lots of spices. Great! And there are a lot of nice places to have breacfast near by. Justin is very welcoming and nice guy! There were absolutely no problems with check-in or check-out. He gave us all the information we needed and there was no problem to change the time. Thank you!
Good value and decent location with convenient metro stop nearby. Neighborhood was eclectic, but good for cheap eats. Location to markets and other food shops very convenient. We felt safe with our family of kids ranging from 21 to 7 y/o. Very quiet flat, although it needs a little updating. The bathroom situation needs improvement and beware of using the shower as everything can get soaking wet unless you're careful. Kitchenware needs updating, but was functional. A new washer was installed and proved very handy. We would recommend it as a good place to stay for the price. Justin was very helpful and kindly offered lots of assistance and local knowledge ((website hidden) was especially helpful).
The loft is situated in a lively street still quiet at night. The interior design looks like a futurist ship. I love it!!
We really enjoyed our stay! :) The location was perfect for us. The apartment has a really interesting layout and funky interior design (as you can tell from the photos) but it's also very practical. The place was very clean & tidy.
And Justin is great - he sent me all the relevant information up front, was waiting for us right on time when we arrived and made sure we had everything we wanted. He also spent some time with us the first night, told us the story of the apartment and gave us some good tips for what to do in the area. If you're planning a trip to Paris you should definitely consider staying at one of the places he manages. :)
Thanks again / all the best,
