Lovely, spacious apartment in great location near the Jewish Ghetto. Lots of steps, so bear in mind if you're older or have knee problems. Safe, clean area near buses and stores. Can be noisy (sirens), but apt. has double-glazed windows. Everything worked well in the flat, kitchen well-equipped (no microwave), clean bathroom with modern plumbing, good lighting, good washing machine. Alessandro was friendly and provided tips on places to see, drink coffee, buy food. Flats nearby in building were empty, so can't comment on noise from neighbouring flats. Overall, very pleased!
Alessandro was a great host. We felt right at home at our apartment in Rome. He took his time to explain everything to us and provided us with excellent local reccomendations. The apartment is very modern and the location is amazing. We can't wait to visit Rome again and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
The appartment was exactly like the photos show it. The best asset, for sure, is its localisation... Near everything. Beside this, really clean.... Cozy and a good melt of modern and trad... Nothing negative to say.
This was a really nice apartment, modern and clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen well- equipped. It was in a good part of Rome and we were able to walk to all the major attractions as well as enjoy exploring the local neighbourhood, which was quite charming. Alex was helpful and meet us at the apartment to greet us and give us some pointers on what to do in Rome. We had a positive experience, but were not expecting the extra cleaning fee that had to be paid in cash. In past experience that comes up on the Airbnb request as an extra cost. Just something to be aware of. Otherwise a great apartment.
The location is ideal -- walkable to everything I wanted to see for my first visit to Rome. The apartment is exactly as described. (New and bigger couch is very nice.) Alex was prompt, professional, and helpful. The address is on a VERY small street that was hard for me to find when I first arrived. I never did see a map (online or paper) that includes the street. And so I recommend getting very clear directions to the exact location so that you don't waste time getting frustrated on your way to check-in.
