The location is ideal -- walkable to everything I wanted to see for my first visit to Rome. The apartment is exactly as described. (New and bigger couch is very nice.) Alex was prompt, professional, and helpful. The address is on a VERY small street that was hard for me to find when I first arrived. I never did see a map (online or paper) that includes the street. And so I recommend getting very clear directions to the exact location so that you don't waste time getting frustrated on your way to check-in.
We had a great stay at the apartment! Alex let us wait a little bit before he handed the keys over to us but I guess a friends birthday party is a good excuse.
It was very cosy with a big sofa (bigger than the one on the photos) and a comfy bed. It can be a little bit noisy when the neighbors are coming home late and slam the doors but that wasn't too much of a problem.
The location is perfect! We could easily walk to all the sights and there are several supermarkets, bakeries and banks around. I'd recommend the tiny little kosher bakery just around the corner in the jewish quarter. They had the best biscotti and amaretti from our entire trip!
Overall it was a great place to stay and we would definitely come back!
The appartement was perfect for us. It is very nice, clean and comfortable. It is also very well situated. Thank you to Alessandro.
As part of our second visit to Rome we could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. The apartment is beautifully presented in an excellent location. Tourist sites such as the Pantheon, Piazza Navona and the Colosseum are all in walking distance. Within 30 seconds walk of the apartment there are a number of lovely restaurants and bars in what is a very friendly neighbourhood.
We would definitely stay here again when we next return to Rome.
We stayed in Alex's apartment in September for 3 nights and we had a fantastic time. Alex met us and showed us around the apartment and then shared some recommendations and also directions. Alex has a passion for Rome and it was great to be able to chat to an Italian/Australian. The location of the apartment is perfect as we walked just about everywhere. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable, even though we had to walk up 53 (yes I counted them) steps it was worth it and I saw it as a way of working off all that amazing Italian food. Would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.
The reservation was canceled 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Alex was helpful and true to his word. Alex had arranged a pick up for us from the airport, exported us to the flat as we reached the place. Flat was neat and tidy as seen in the photos. Internet worked fine, towels and toiletries were in order. Alex even helped us take the luggage to the 4th floor and gave tips re local site seeing and shops close by. Will definitely recommend the place to friends.
