This 30m2 fully furnished studio is my home and I rent it while I am away. It is located in an old, 1929 built house, just 100 meters away from the Finnish National Opera. The studio is in the 4th floor and the windows are facing West to the sunny inner courtyard. There is a lift for your convenience.
The building itself has been renovated 2011. At the same time the apartment has been completely redone, including all the furniture. The apartment has an open area kitchen/livingroom and a separate bedroom/half balcony bed (mezzanine). The shower is in the bathroom and there is a separate small toilet.
The apartment is ideal for one or 2 persons, but it is possible to accomodate up to 4 people. The balcony bed (140cm wide) is for two persons. Third guest can sleep on the sofa and there is an extra IKEA -mattress for the fourth guest who prefers to sleep on the floor.

Janne was very helpful starting from the first communication that we had. He made things very easy for us to get in the apartment even though we arrived much later than planned due to the cancellations in our flights.
The apartment is great, as explained in the website, you get what you expect! It is clean, warm and comfortable. It is very well located and well connected to the transportation network.
Janne also thought about everything you need, from music to the movies. We would strongly suggest everyone the "bachelor's box" whoever wants to have a good time in Helsinki. Thanks again Janne!
Janne was a very nice and friendly host. The apartment was clean, stylish and cosy. We realy enjoyed our stay!:)
Janne was very flexible in allowing me to extend my stay from the initial hosting period, well communicated and stress-free. A great place to stay - highly recommended.
Janne is an amazing host and his apartment is presented at a very high standard. I was hosted for a 6 month period with no problems what so ever. Communication was perfect, and the apartment is highly recommended in a perfect location for all ages.
Very nice and clean small apartment centrally located with all the appliances you could need for a short stay in Helsinki. All worked well and Janne was very helpful. Nice fresh linen and towels, beautiful cutlery and classes, good bed and silence in the (website hidden), wifi and radio, dishwasher and even washing machine for the clothes. What more could you need? Thanks, we would recommend this to anyone.
I met Janne only briefly when I began my stay in his studio apartment. He was very helpful in getting me settled in.
I was in Helsinki on a business trip and the small apartment perfectly suited my needs.
The apartment complex was very very quiet during my stay.
If I return to Helsinki I would certainly want to stay here again!
About the Host, Janne
I live in Helsinki and rent my apartment while away.
I travel quite a lot for business and pleasure. A weekend at home is a speciality. My favorite hobby is snowboarding and I try to snowboard as many days as possible during the skiing season. During the summer I tend to get away from the city to enjoy the Finnish nature in the unique and lovely archipelago in Southern Finland.
