The space

We are in an open-air loft with several levels and a lot of wide open space. Your private area is created with multiple bamboo blinds, and it is separate and distinct and private.

Guest access
You can access your living space, bathroom, kitchen, and living room.

There is a work desk, fax and printer for business use, as well as the free WIFI. The WIFI password is posted on your dresser.

Private access is limited to your living space ~ the rest are shared spaces, including the bathroom.

We offer a continental breakfast including coffee, tea, bagels, and cream cheese and butter. Feel free to make yourself breakfast, and just clean up after yourself.

If you decide to buy groceries and cook them please let us know, and we'll show you the appropriate utensils and pans. Please always clean up after yourself. No pork and no shell fish.

Other things to note
We have a lovely cat who is very shy, and you may not see at all during your stay.

There is a coin laundry in the building.

Neighborhood highlights

This is really a great neighborhood, close to McCormick Center, the Loop business district, Lake Michigan, Museum Campus, Soldier Field and all highways, with easy and free street parking.

We are bounded by Pilsen (Mexican community), UIC/Greektown, and Chinatown all within close proximity, all with great food and unique shopping.

The Chicago Arts District hosts 2nd Fridays Gallery Night, the monthly opening receptions at the galleries and artists' studios centered around South Halsted and 18th Streets.
