Villa Taddei is a beautiful house built in the seventies by my uncle as a second house where to spend relaxing time away from the bustle of the city of Rome. My uncle, who was a veterinary loved nature and this was the perfect place to enjoy his cats and dogs and to work at his garden and plot and enjoy . The garden is huge and it's full of fruit trees: apricots, peaches, plums in summer, pears, apple and lots of oranges and lemons in winter! It really spreads peace and quietness.
Villa Taddei is peaceful inside too with its walls totally white, a bright light and a pleasant natural atmosphere.
There are 3 double rooms and an extra funny bed under a wall arch in the living room. Other extra beds can also be requested.
There are also three bathrooms and a solar shower outside in the garden.
There is the place to park up to 4 cars inside the property and the Villa has the automatic garden door and the camara at the door bell.
Outside in the garden you have two porches and a stone barbecue and all you need to stay comfortable outdoor, including bikes for your trips.
We are close to the coast (4 km) in the southern part of the province of Rome, at the beginning of the Pontine and close to the Castelli Romani.
In these parts, it is a little 'history and a bit' legend, Aeneas landed, precisely in Lavinio, today also called Lido di Enea.
The location of the villa, which makes it advisable but not essential to have a car, is an excellent base for your visit to Rome, with the advantage of accommodation in the open countryside away from the chaos and congestion and pollution big city.
To get to Rome we suggest you arrive by car to EUR, important and interesting suburb south of the city, and then take the metro. In particular, you should take in the vicinity of the villa Via Laurentina and hence the Pontina (SS 148) which continues as Via Cristoforo Colombo in Eur, where there are several metro line B metro (Laurentina, Eur Fermi - most recommended - Eur Palasport, Eur Magliana) and where you can easily park. The total distance by car is about 30 km with a travel time of 20-25 minutes.
Another solution is to reach by car or train from Santa Palomba-Pomezia or to Campoleone both about 15 minutes away and from there take the train to Rome Termini (website hidden).
The Fiumicino airport is about 40 '.
In addition Nearby Rome there are many things of interest and amusement.

Once again airbnb proved to be the best way to find accommodation! We stayed at Valeria & Teo's dreamy Villa. It is absolutely beautiful - a feast for anyone who can appreciate art & design. It was immaculately clean with white linen and fresh cut flowers in the bathroom. It truly was a 5 star hotel standard but with so much more personality. Sunny kitchen and a terrace with a view was at our disposal. Valeria let us use the bikes and gave us plenty of tips with regards to where to eat or have a drink - all of them great. The villa is just 10-15 minutes walk from the city centre. Staying at this classic Italian villa will make you feel like you are living the Italian dream. Thank you Valeria & Teo! xxx
The location is great. About 10-15 minutes from the leaning tower. The house looks great from the outside and inside. Too bad I am 2 meters tall and I stayed on the top floor. It was to low for me but also for people longer than 1.70.
Valeria and Teo are great and the house is beautiful, centrally located, clean and extremely comfortable. Valeria was so helpful in making our experience wonderful!
Thanks to both of you.
The Villa Lazzarino (email hidden) to stay when visiting the charming little city of Pisa. Valeria and Teo were lovely hosts, perfectly welcoming and great resources for finding the best pizza spot close by! The Room E was spacious and had its own small balcony. It was connected to the downstairs bathroom which included a bathtub -- perfect for relaxing after a day of walking the cobblestone streets. The house also included a fabulous terrace and garden and the internet worked very well.
My favorite feature was the availability of the bicycles for guests. I was enrolled in a course at the Scuola Sant'Anna which is located inside the old city walls. The house is around a 15 minute walk to the old city, so it was nice to have the option to bike...and the sidewalks and roads are well kept so there is no issue of safety.
Ultimately, if you are looking for a charming, clean and friendly accommodation a bit outside of the touristy area (Pisa is super small so you cant really avoid the crowds) then Villa Lazzarino with Valeria and Teo is a perfect option!
Valeria was a really nice host, very friendly! She was there to welcome us, and strawberries were waiting for us in the kitchen!
The house is really beautiful and very well decorated. Beautiful objects everywhere.
The room was the one presented on Internet, beautiful, clean, calm, and with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean and shiny.
Valeria advised us a nice restaurant and gave us a ride downtown. And, she lent us two cycles to visit Pisa, which was very pleasant.
Thank you Valeria and Teo for your smile! We recommend this place and hope to come back longer one day. One night was really too short!
It was a wonderful first Airbnb experience. Our hosts' house is very nice and we connected very well with our host family! Valeria was very generous with local tips regarding things to do and food to eat and arranged things for us like ordering a taxi. We'll definitely stay with them again when we go back to Pisa. Thanks for having us!
Freakiest craziest house I've ever seen. Eye candy everywhere. The house was very clean and very well stocked for bathroom and kitchen use. The pictures of the "orchard" are misleading, it is a 5 minute walk in front other people's property to reach a path. I thought the house would be a little more secluded than it was. It is in a neighbourhood with a lot of other houses very close. Having said that it was a great experience. We were two couples for some down time after Rome and we had a great time. The house is so much fun to explore with stories to tell everywhere. We cooked a great meal and ate outside by candle light. I would recommend this place just because you have to experience Valeria's crazy taste in decor. The old city of Lucca is 15 minutes by car but there (email hidden) down the road to purchase pastry and coffee, there are a couple of restaurants about 1 to 1.5 klms down the road. Worth the stay if you are looking for something very different.
(email hidden)! I stayed here for a whole week, the first part alone with my girlfriend Melisa and the second half with her and a few more friends. Like this we could experience the place all alone, with other guests and finally fully booked with our own friends. It is really spacious, modern, particularly arty as both the owners are artists. You will feel at home but like your home got a cultural upgrade overnight :) Valeria and Beppe are two really lively and lovely locals with a cute son and an even cuter cat, Bartolomao. Communication with them works in real time via email and phone/sms while you are outside and if you are at home they are always abailable for a question and a nice chat. It's nearly surreal but yes: one night we found a homemade cake in our kitchen, they offered us dinner nights and wine tasting tours to the country side and the last interaction we had before a goodbye hug was a text saying: it would be a pleasure to give you a lift to the "stazione". The pleasure was ours! Thank you for an amazing week at your beautiful villa. Philipp, Melisa and friends.
