Peter was a great host and had the friendliest dogs. He left some beer and bottled water for us in the fridge and a bottle of wine which was such a nice touch. He left suggestions of restaurants and other places nearby which was nice since we weren't really familiar with the area. The house was exactly the way it looked in the pictures and was the perfect size for 4 people. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have access to the hot tub too. My friends and I had a great weekend in LA and Peter's place was the perfect retreat at the end of the day.
Great place, so clean and such great beds. Amazing location and great host. Can not recommend enough. Thanks!
When we get Peter's house, everything is ready. Thanks for the free beer and red wine! The garden is perfect, you can chat with friends around the fire. Free parking outside the door step. The location is perfect, very easy to go to Melrose and Beverly. There is a flea market in Fairfax highschool every sunday, you can't miss it!
Peter was ready at the door when we arrived - he had a broad smile, and a good handshake! The house was super nice - lots of beautiful wood and beautiful bed, The decor was wonderful and comfy!
The patio was nicer than described - and in 10 min we had our shoes off sitting in the sun with a cool beverage - LOVELY!
Thank you for a wonderful time! Jo really liked the champagne!
We were two couples who visited Moore Cottage in February 2015. The apartment is big with two separate bedrooms/bathrooms which made it perfect for us. We also loved the patio. The apartment is a five minute walk from Sunset Junction and a lot of great shops on Sunset Blvd. We definitely recommend staying here if you plan on staying in the Silver Lake area (which is a great area btw)
Peter was a fantastic host. Upon arrival, Peter had a guide book readily available that highlighted all the great places around Silver Lake. Even better, he was kind enough to supply us with a nice bottle of wine. The place itself was located in a fantastic part of Silver Lake. All of the bars and shops were a 5 minute walk away. The house itself was clean and had all amenities that you would possibly need. The hot tub and fire pit in the back were great as well.
Peter is a lovely host...all the communications were prompt and helpful, the space was just as promised, the deck is a beautiful little oasis (including hummingbirds!), the beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and the bottle of wine was a welcome touch! We would definitely stay there again.
