Jay and Christine offered a nice room that was clean and comfortable. They were attentive to any needs I had and were good hosts! I would recommend them as a good place to stay.
Christine was welcoming upon arrival and suggested places to eat.
The room was as advertised and there was a bathroom that we could use.
Curtains were a little thin, but I wore an eye mask so not such a problem.
The neighbourhood was quiet, easily accessed and had street parking.
The house and room were as described by the hosts and guests. It was clean and quiet. The neighborhood seemed safe, with ample street parking. Jay quickly established rapport and affinity, with a few neighborhood tips to boot.
The bedroom's curtains were sheer, which served me well as a "silent wake-up call". But for others, a sleep mask may be a good idea.
Overall, a pleasant experience.
Jay and Christine were wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming, communicative, and made us feel at home during our stay there. The neighborhood is excellent, and really is quiet and super close to both San Francisco proper and SFO airport. Will definitely be in touch for our next trip back. Thank you!
Short one night stay in a quiet area was just what we needed. Easy to find and plenty parking space.
My stay at Jay and Christine's was great! The bed was super comfy and the house was very quiet and in a safe and quiet neighborhood. I had plenty of privacy and the kitchen was stocked with useful appliances. They also gave a little heater in the room for extra warmth which was nice. :)
My boyfriend and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. The room looks exactly like the picture and is really spacious with natural lighting. They also provide a space heater as well - some nights were pretty cold. The bathroom was nice and clean and a few steps from the room. Parking is really easy to find. Overall great stay!
Christine and I were born and raised in San Francisco and still enjoy visiting the city all the time. There is always something going on and new things to discover which makes it a new adventure every time. We love meeting new people and learning new things about everything and everyone. We like visiting new places and exploring new cities we've never been to. Our ultimate vacation destination would have to be Thailand.
We enjoy trying new foods and discovering new places to try and visit. We enjoy the outdoors camping, hiking, or just being out and about in general. Working out and "trying" to eat right is another one of our passions. We believe in humanity still and helping one another out is a trait that everyone should have. Jay becoming a registered EMT brings that closer to him. Not currently working in that field but up he's up to date with all his credentials and knowledge. Both of us are Bay Area sports fans to round it off.
We can say that we love hosting people from around the world. It gives us a glimpse of what is still out there, and what there is still left to be explored. Hearing/sharing stories of our travels or others is enjoyable. Giving advice on where to go in the city, and having the chance to help anyone out that's new to the area is not a problem for us.
We will be more than glad to help you out with anything : )
