Two large bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, shower and toilet you get in the middle of Copenhagen in the area called Frederiksberg, it's situated 5 minutes from Copenhagen city center.
We rent our bright apartment in an over 100 year old building with high ceilings, fully furnished, internet and washing machine. We live simple with Scandinavian design.
There are a total of 4 beds for adults / older children and a cot / crib.
There are plenty of toys for children 1 years old and 6 years old. We have a huge green yard, which we love to use, please feel free to use it. It was finished in 2012 and here is grass, small football pitch, large trees, dining area, barbecue option clothesline and playground and kids play things.
Do not smoke in the apartment, but in the yard and on the street.
Bus 2A runs right past our door and connects you to the Town Hall Square in 5 minutes and the Copenhagen Central Station in 10 minutes. Frederiksberg Metro station is only 800 meters away (a walk of 7 minutes), and it connects you to the metro to Copenhagen Airport, Amager Strand, Nørreport St.etc.
The neighborhood around Godthåbsvej is filled with families with children, and there are plenty of local life, a varied selection of takeaway, supermarkets, small local pottery and clothing stores. And 100 meters from our front door is Langeland Square, where there is a playground and a 25 meter long pool with 20 centimeters water for kids supplied with clean water every morning throughout the summer (june to august).
Frederiksberg Swimmingstation (indoor) with water slide, family and baby pool is 5 minutes from here at Axel Møller's Have.
Of green areas is Frederiksberg Have with a small playground (10 minutes away on foot), Copenhagen Zoo (10 minutes away on foot), Grøndal park with good playground for children from 0-6 years (10 minute walk away), Axel Moller Garden with playground for children 0-6 years and here where dogs are air meet, Hostrups Garden with good playground for children 0-6 years.
We love our home and our things, for us a home is also a place where you can live and be with kids, a place you can use. As a guest we hope you will feel free to live as you would do at home, just without having to worrying about laundry and work.
If you come with kids please make use of the toys in the garden and in the appartment.
You can borrow our bikes on request.
The only thing that you can't do is smoke, but it is perfectly fine in the garden or on the mainstreet, there are ashtrays both places.
We had a Great Time in Martine's Appartment! It is very cosy and bright, in a very Good Area with much Restaurants, Shops and playgrounds around. Especially with Kids it is a Good Place to Stay because they feel like home with all the toys and the lovely fareground at the House! Everything was very Nice, we enjoyed our Stay very much!!
Martine provided ample information about their place, the neighbourhood, things to do and local transportation before and during our 4-night stay in her clean, comfortable, kid-friendly apartment, located in a nice neighbourhood very close to the stop of a frequent bus that takes you downtown in ten minutes 24 hours a day. Thanks, Martine!
Min familie havde et super ophold hos Martine. Jeg kan varmt anbefale denne fine lejlighed til andre børnefamilier
We stayed in Martines lovely flat for a long weekend in September. We had a geat time from beginning to end. Martine was very helpful all along. She provided information on how to get to the flat and waited for us till we got there quite late from the airport with tea and sweets, which was so kind. The flat was really tidy and cosy and was equippred with all you needed. Throughout the whole time, Martine provided us with great information of what to do and what to see and gave us a good map to find our way around. We did most of the things Martine recommended and they were all really nice, especially the cycle and day spend by bellevue beach. The location of the flat was perfect as well, located in a quiet area but close to the centre of town. We never took the bus, only walked or cycled around which was wonderful. However there was a bus just outside the house that was very easy to catch at all times. Shops, bakerys, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets were also close by to get breakfasts in the mornings.
We were really sad leaving Copenhagen and Martines flat, as we felt so happy and comfortable there. We highly recommend Martines flat if you are thinking about coming to Copenhagen. She is so easy going and welcoming. Thank you for having us Martine.
We stayed 7 nights in this apartment and we had a beautiful experience. The apartment is in a good location and described on a tourism website as " a posh part of Copenhagen." It was in a clean condition when we arrived, there is a lovely shared courtyard. The host and her family were very hospitable They were lots of toys which our children played with non-stop. The host provided very useful information which made our stay stress free. The host was very free with the property giving us permission to make use of facilities. We were quite impressed at the high speed of the WIFI in the property. If we were to return to Copenhagen, we will definitely return to the property if it is available.
My name is Martine and I am 34 years old and live in Frederiksberg in Copenhagen with my partner Michael and our two kids, Elena (6 years) and Erik (1 year). I grew up in the northern part of Sealand moved to Copenhagen 14 years ago and I love it. I work at Roskilde University and I am a journalist and my friends would even call me an idealist which I stubbornly admit is true. I travel with my family as often as I can and it has been an eyeopener to experience how traveling with kids will make you experience things and get you closer to the local community than when traveling alone with your backpack. The only thing I always miss when abroad is my bike.
My hopes for the future is to write as good travellitterature as the one and only Bill Bryson and to get a ph.d. in journalism.
