  • We loved this little place. It was the perfect size for the two of us. It reminded us of a design for a Tiny House. So it's great taste of how to live comfortably in a small space. We only used the little kitchen once. The little coffee shop and restaurants that Nicola has recommended and mapped out in a little book for guests kept us well fed and happy.
The location is perfect! We pretty much walked everywhere. But when it's time to catch a train or the metro it's really close by. The Coliseum was just a 15 or 20 minute walk through the wonderful old streets of Rome. We did use the metro to get to Vatican City, but then ended up walking back.
Which reminds me of another thing that's great about this place. They have a computer and printer you can use in the the little vestibule area - perfect for printing out your advanced tickets ( a must for the Vatican Museum and really anywhere you're going with an admission - don't waste your time standing in line!).
Nicola was very kind and walked us to a lovely little coffee shop where we went for breakfast.

  • The apartment was small but very well located and near most of the Rome attractions, the main station and the metro. We were out and about most of the time but in the studio apartment each evening. It was compact but neat and tidy and had most things we wanted. What was especially pleasing was our welcome by Nicole's lovely daughter Irene whio gave us lots of valuable information, maps etc. Thank you Irene for telling us about the local eating houses, bars and Villa Altempts and the Domus Romana and all the other suggestions. We had a great week in Rome.

  • We had a lovely 3 night stay in the studio. The location is excellent and the apartment has everything that you need. Only ten minutes walk from Termini station and literally yards from the Metro. You can also walk to the Colosseum in 15 minutes.

Irene met us as we arrived and told us everything we needed to know. The place is very small, but you don't really need much more space if you're planning on sightseeing most of the time. The bed is very comfy. There is also a fantastic restaurant just round the corner called Vecchia Roma, which has delicious food and great prices. By far the best place we ate.

I would definitely recommend staying here for a good value, convenient option!

  • We had a great time in Rome staying at Nicola's apartment. It is a small yet cosy and clean place in a good location. Walking distance to see the Colosseum and right next to Monti with many good places to eat.
Nicola and his daughter Irene were very welcoming, friendly and flexible. Irene was waiting for us with the key upon our arrival and we were allowed to check out later than check-out time
