Our self catering loft apartment is 36ft x 36ft it has 2 double beds, a seperate bathroom with hot & cold water, a kitchen with full cooker and fridge.
There are stunning mountain views from the 8 dormer windows, also a wrap around balcony with outside seating.
We have cool breezes so no need for air conditioning or fans, just what you need after a hot day hiking ,there is WiFi and ample parking.
We are nestled in the rainforest 1800ft above sea level on the side of Morne Trois Pitons mountain, a Unesco Heritage Site.
Our apartment is in Pont Casse which is centrally located, giving easy access to all the attractions on Dominica.
We are only a 5 minute walk from the start of the climb to the top of Morne Trois Pitons also segment 5 of the Waitukubuli Trail. Emerald Pool and Spanny Falls are but a short distance away.
The distance from the airport by car or bus is 40mins and 30 mins to the capital Roseau.
There is public transport that will stop right outside the apartment if required.
We enjoyed to stay at the rainforrest house of Alan and Christine. We had the flat at attic. For the few days we rented a SUV. The rental car was proposed by Alan. They both where really friendly and helded us with their hints to find nice hiking routes and Restaurants :)
For next time in Dominica I'll know my adress where to stay - if only Alan and Christine are still in the Island.
The rainforest appartment is part of an absolutely admirable house, especially when one consider that it was built by the hosts themselves. The appartment is basically the whole upper floor of the house (thus, there is a lot of space to make yourself comfortable) and it features everything (and much more) that you need. The kitchen is very well funished, so it is no problem to cook up there.
The location in the montainous inside of the island means that you are surrounded by a wonderful scenery but also that buses won't bring you back late in the evening from Roseau. However, taxis are an affordable alternative if one misses the last bus.
The hosts are very nice and interesting people who make you feel perfectly comfortable during your stay. They know a lot about the island and were of great help in planning our days.

I am married with 3 children and 3 Grandchildren, who I adore.
My wife Christine and I moved to Dominica 10years ago from the UK.
We built this property ourselves and created four apartments, for family and guests.
Dominica is an amazing island that needs sharing with other adventurous people, and now we can offer that chance to you.
